Weakness Cup Announced for Sun & Moon

Ready for a new challenge to take on in Pokémon Sun & Moon? The Weakness Cup has been announced and requires players to create a team of Pokémon that have 5 or more weaknesses! Some of those Pokémon considered too frail for normal usage may just get their time to shine. That’s not all though–players will also earn Ampharosite, Altarianite, Latiosite, and Latiasite Mega Stones if they participate in 3 or more battles! That means Mega Ampharos, Mega Altaria, Mega Latios and Mega Latias can be yours to use in Sun & Moon! The official site shares more details about the competition:

Registration for the Weakness Cup begins Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 00:00 UTC. The competition goes from Friday, July 28, at 00:00 UTC, until Sunday, July 30, at 23:59 UTC. Trainers will be limited to 15 battles per day.

It is also worth noting that according to Serebii.Net the battles will actually be double battles, not single battles.

    Anyway this is quite the tourney! I love these unique tourneys theyve been doing. If I wasnt so lazy I would actually play in them, but no motivation to breed.
    I guess Ice, rock, and grass types are gonna be the super common ones presumsbly.

I celebrate it because Im in America and have american friends but Im not american so idk if theres something Im supposed to be feeling, or if we’re messing anything in my house like a tree or something.   21. Kinda dumb thing outta boredom: go into an RNG, put the limits at 1-802, and then go six times to generate a Pokémon team.

  22. I’m scrapping the previous Alpaca fakemon. After being with Alpacas I have a better Idea!
    Alpasoft (Normal) that can be 4 diffrent colours (like Flabebe) that Evolves into:
    Metalpac (Steel/Normal) that is based on diffrent metals based on the colour of its prevo
    Beige Alpasoft -> Gold Metalpac
    Brown Alpasoft -> Copper Metalpac
    Grey Alpasoft -> Silver Alpasoft
    Black Alpasoft -> I don’t know, help me

    • Metals only really come in shades of grey besides Gold and Copper, so if I were you I’d just go with a dark grey metal to contrast with silver

  23. I really want them to just go all out for Gen 8. Use that technology to their advantage. Give us like… three regions. pokemon follow us. more dynamic battles, legendaries fighting like in the movies, fire emblem cutscene art style. lez go

        • Yes. Pokemon has a tradition of how the games look. You want FireBlade: Breath of the Oddysey with Pokemon. Pokemon makes changes step by step, we have to be patient. Remember What pokemon is, a turn based RPG for mobile consoles (Switch is still a pretty small change), that’s what makes it diffrent in this times.
