Like Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow, the first Generation II games will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS’ Virtual Console! Pokémon Gold and Silver will be available to (re-)purchase on September 22nd! They will feature wireless trading and battling as well as Pokémon Bank support so that you can transfer Pokémon to the latest games!

        • Its so tempting, but I’ve gotta get ready for Stormblood. Early access is in 9 days and I need like 4 at least to do the last things I want to do before it, which amount to getting an ugly Fenrir mount, max reputation with the factions which I haven’t yet and do the final quest with them, and finally earn the shiva pony so I can get the Kirin mount. I’ve literally done the fight over a hundred times and never once have earned that last fated pony. I probably won’t be able to even try it until the weekend anyways. People don’t try to do farms until then. Such a shame its a worthless mount now. And if I do it I get to meet the game director’s fourth wall breaking character. He’s pretty amusing.

    • Just watching the video now……does he have precedent to knowing stuff or is he just blowing smoke out his butt? I feel like he’s just trying to be positive in the video

        • Like what is a bit more info? Is it the kind of thing where he thinks he saw something in the trailer that other haven’t seen? Also it’s a no brainer that we’ll get more info in the coming months……that much doesn’t take a whole lot to come to lol

          • I don’t think he’s making stuff up and acting like he knows what’s coming, just pointing to the obvious. There’s gonna be surprises in these games and people should wait and see before blindly hating them.

          • Which is the major point of shofu’s video. He is explaining why it was asinine to expect it to be on the Switch, as much as I admittedly wanted it to be on.
            And the 2 games thing I’ve honestly only seen coming from you. 2 games incentivizes trading and is more profitable.

          • It’s just that another 3DS game hurts the game itself. It means that unless they pull out some coding wizardry, we’re still getting laggy battles and all that.

            I’m curious to see what’s going to happen with it but the game should’ve been on Switch

          • It could end up being another BW2 situation where the games were great and had amazing content, but due to the end of the DS’ lifespan, didn’t sell too great. But even that said, they are still fondly looked back on as the last games that had a great post-game. Really hoping the same happens for USUM. I can deal with another 3DS game’s efficiency issues. For me anyway, they aren’t too frequent on the n3DS. Just need to see that content…

          • And it shots themselves in the foot too since people are buying Switches like crazy. At this point I’m just concerned if Diamond and Pearl remakes are going I be on Switch or not because at the end of the day all that matters is the well being of DP remakes.

            I’m sure they will be fine games and if it is like B2W2, it’s a day one purchase from me but people’s grievances make sense

          • I feel like these will be the last 3DS main series games and DP remakes will be part of Gen 8. I have no evidence to support this idea, it’s just what I feel xD

          • No I don’t think so. Because 2018 is going to be 10 years since Platinum came out and with how much they are teasing Sinnoh its gotta be next year since it’s not this year

    its called a Spellsufi and they are Psychic types that live in scorching arid areas, they drape their bodies in a cloth that is actually made of thin veil of psychic energy, this veil protects them from harsh weather

    i can’t get the body to not look racist

  21. I really hope they change up the league a lot. Like I know they may be adding Totem Lycanroc, but I just hope that isnt the only one. Maybe some different Elite 4 (Mina?). And They got to add more/new Post game right? Now Im getting hyped for this game.
    3rd versions are ALWAYS better than the original (Crystal, Emerald, Plat)
    Get ready for a good game guys.
    But dont raise your expectations too high

      • Like I said last night I’m not so sure he does. It seemed to me he was just trying to be positive and was just telling people not to get to upset yet as we really don’t know anything about these games at this point. I’ll admit his choice of words are a little odd at the beginning, but after that he never really says anything else about how he “knows something”
