New Mobile Game ‘PokéLand’ Announced

PokéLand, a new mobile game for smartphones and tablets, has been announced. The title is now in alpha testing in Japan for Android devices. The game seems to be a follow-up to the Pokémon Rumble series and features stylized Pokémon fighting in real-time. The current version features over 130 monsters to collect.

Although the game is only being tested on the Android platform an iOS release has been confirmed for launch.

Excited?? How do you feel about more mobile Pokémon games?

  1. Today was a good day. Pre-ordered a Splatoon Pro Controller, bought a new Deckbox, went to an excellent thesis defence of a friend of mine, going to hit the pool later today. Only negative is that it is just way too hot at my dorm.

  2. Help me! I need a part Grass fakemon that has small chances of being female, but evolves only if it’s a male. One idea was a duck but that’s stupid.

  8. Time to join in with everyone with fakemon:

    Macadura
    The Sturdy Pokemon
    Type: Grass/Rock
Ability: Unmovable Roots (This Pokemon can never be forced off the battlefield, so moves like Roar, Dragon Tail, or Whirlwind will fail)
    Height: 5’02”
    Weight: 1098 lbs
    HP: 129
    ATK: 116
    DEF: 99
    SP ATK: 40
    SP DEF: 80
    SPD: 18
    BST: 482
    Dex Entry:
(Amber) Macadura find a place to seep its roots into the ground when it’s a week old, and then stays in that one position for the rest of it’s life. It can never be knocked over, not by tornadoes, tsunamis, or anything. Even axes will break instantly if used on its organic, rock-like body.

(Chrome) Many wild Pokemon are drawn by the sweet smell of the fruit on Macadura’s branches. When they get drawn to Macadura, however, they are greeted by the bone-smashing slam from the tough-shelled fruit Macadura whips at them.

      • It’s mainly based on the Macadamia Tree and the nut itself, as it’s known for having the toughest shell to crack, so I just incorporated that concept into the design (like how it’s impossible to knock over and it’s durability). The root part was based on Walnut trees for having strong, permanent roots.

  10. Since y’all got the fever might as well join the fun

    Calfalfa
    The Hay Pkm
    Grass
    Sap Sipper/Oblivious HA: Grassy Pelt
A short bovid Pokemon resembling a yak, it has frizzy rough plant like fur in a rounded cube like shape, it has rounded horns and short hooves. Their tails on the other hand are stiff and have two long prongs
“They spend most of their day grazing in pastures, they use their tails to scrap up piles of grass for dinner”

    Into the slow but stalwart
    Hayakken
    The Haystack Pkm
    Grass/Ground
    Sap Sipper/Oblivious HA: Grassy Pelt
A massive yellow brown haystack shrouds most of this pokemon’s body, under the stack is four flat hoofs, it’s exposed head has a large bulbous nose and sleepy eyes under matted hair and long horns, they always have a sprig of wheat in their mouth, their tail is stiff and has four long curved prongs similar to a pitch fork (kinda like ampharos’s tail)
“They travel grassy fields scraping grass and dirt as they go, when nights grow cold they fling extra grass onto their backs to keep warm”

  11. Star REALLY thank you for the idea

    Leafeat (Leaf Eat + Defeat)
    Bug/Grass
    The Small Mantis Pokemon
They are small and harmless for people. But they kill eachother very often. Eating leafs gave them power to control plants. For some reason males are very rare.

Males evolve after breeding once with a female into:

    Decapitis (Decapitate + Mantis)
    Ghost/Grass
    The Headless Mantis Pokemon
Their heads are ripped off by females. They are dead, but their bodies are still ready to fight. Their heads can be found laying in the grass. They can control control all plant life.
