Magikarp Jump Debuts in Japan, Adds English Language Option

Magikarp Jump was released in Italy last week, but has now made it to Japan and other Southeast Asian countries. The game also supports multiple language options, including English!

It probably won’t be long until it is released in the West, so keep your eyes peeled! If you have a Japanese iTunes or Google Play account, check out the links!

  1. Why can we only train Magikarp and not other fish Pokemons like Feebas? I find this offensive and inappropriate.

  2. I got Splatoon on the brain…
I’m just extremely worried that I might be crippled
My entire Splatoon career is dedicated to the Krak-On roller, Painting a swath of destruction and forging a path with my beakons and when in a tight jam I unleash the kraken

That splashdown thingy isn’t that good honestly it’s just a slightly good attack and a refill

Any other Splatters worried about gear?

    • I really enjoy it but I don’t blame you if you want to wait. Zelda is a must buy. I also recommend Mario Kart 8, Snipperclips, and Stardew Valley when that comes out

  3. Once in a while everybody could use a food fakemon.

    Cheesacon (Cheese + Bacon)
    Fire
    The Tasty Pokemon
They are simple, but beloved pokemon. Cheese and Bacon were named after this pokemon, because they looked like parts of it.
    Based on Cheese and Bacon

    Evolves at level 27 into:

    Foodness (Food + Goodness)
    Fire/Fighting
    The Grilled pokemon
They are very powerful pokemon. They are very big and very strong, they can move giant trees with their thin arms. They can spit their “cheese” at their opponents that is in fact more like hot magma.
Based on more cheese and bacon.

    • I really wish Tyrantrum got a Dragon Fang attack
I mean it’s beyond cliche for Dragon Fang for the name so how about Draco Fang or Dragon’s Bite

      Draco Fang
      Dragon
      Physical
      Damage 90
The user bites down with savage force, this ignores stat changes

It is only learned by, Tyrantrum, Druddigon, Garchomp, Guzzlord
I was afraid of giving it to Salamence…

    • Is it really?
I mean…. Would Nintendo REALLY just let people play the new game they make so soon after it is announced?

  4. Which new Pokemon, Alolan form, or Mega Evolution would you like to see in Pokemon Stars? Here are my examples:

    1. Standard forms of Nihilego, Buzzwole, Pheromosa, Xurkitree, Celesteela, Kartana, and Guzzlord (just like they had Ultra Beast forms in Pokemon Sun and Moon).
    2. New forms of Necrozma, Lycanroc, and Marshadow (possibly Necrozma Dragon Forme and the Morning, Evening, and Late Night forms of Lycanroc).
    3. Two new fossil Pokemon (2-stage)
    4. Porprise (2-stage dolphin Pokemon)
    5. New snowman Pokemon (2-stage Ice/Ghost-type)
    6. Alolan forms of Pichu, Pikachu, Exeggcute, Cubone, Growlithe, Arcanine, Koffing, Weezing, Mankey, Primeape, Ekans, Arbok, Smoochum, Jynx, Paras, and Parasect.
    7. Alolan Forms of some Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova Pokemon.
    8. Mega Evolutions of Chesnaught, Delphox, Greninja (similar to Ash-Greninja), Butterfree, Slowking, and Froslass.

    • The Dolphin one

      …

      …

      …

      …

      …and…
How do you imagine normal forms for the UBs? They aren’t in “Ultra Beast form”, they ARE the Ultra Beasts. They’re from a diffrent dimension. And why would there be 5 diffrent forms for Lycanrock? How would they be diffrent from each other? The morning form would drink coffe and the evening one would drink beer?

    • Umm…
-What do you mean standard forms?
-Necrozma might get one doubtful to Marshadow and we don’t need 5 forms of the Lycanroc besides midday and midnight were just to have a common word of mid
      -Totally agree
-Technically the leakers slipped up at Tapu fini who was what they said was dolphin (just for it to be a marlin)
-Same with Crabomibal as Tapu fini it being mixed up for a snowman
-Um Pika’s ain’t gonna happen due to Pikachu being the mascot and all, Ekans, Growlithe, Koffing, and Paras I’d like, and thank god you didn’t say Fighting type Abra
      -Yes absolutely
      -I’d be ok with it

  5. – Out this summer
    – RPG that mixes exploration and turn-based combat
    – The exploration is estimated at 35% of the game
    – Combat makes up 65%
    – Each of the four worlds are “twisted” Mario worlds filled with references
    – Combat is weapon-based
    – Mario and company can use guns for the first time
    – 8 different characters can be used: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, and Rabbids dressed up as each of them
    – Combat is described as more tactical
    – More akin to a strategy RPG than what you might expect from a Mario RPG
    – Can be played in co-op for two players as well
    – Ubisoft appears to be publishing
    – Estimated to be 20 hours long
    – Again, runs on Ubisoft’s Snowdrop engine
    – Ubisoft Paris and Milan developing
    – The goal of Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle was to be a surprise announcement at E3 that came out shortly after the announcement
    – Still due out in August or September
