Evidence for Pokémon Direct THIS WEEK Found

Intrepid gamers have dug deep to uncover evidence that suggests a new Nintendo Direct is likely be held this week. They have based this on the pattern which Nintendo follows when updating their site ahead of upcoming presentations.

Although Pokémon games are not usually announced at the American E3 gaming convention, they are commonly revealed during the month of May. Information on the follow-up to last year’s Pokémon Sun & Moon is highly expected before the end of the month.

This means that the next direct to come from Nintendo has a high probability of focusing on Pokémon and what’s next for the main series.

  3. I really do think they’ll announce the Direct tomorrow or Wednesday. Something simply has to happen around this time, new mainline game or not. Even back in 2015 when we were waiting for a Pokémon Z announcement, we still got Super Mystery Dungeon in May. Fingers crossed!

    Anyway, while it will be pretty sad that my dog is going to die, I reflected on the good times I had with her. I remember picking her out of the litter when I was a kid, playing fetch with her, bringing her to dog parks, and even working on my homework while she was right next to me.

    Often I didn’t realize the things she taught me. I thought about it today, it truly dawned on me she introduced me to love in a new light. I knew she loved me my whole life, but just the immense affection she showed melted my heart. Her willingness to stay with me all the time was beautiful, and it inspired me to become someone better. She introduced me to showing an ideal sense of love, which helped me.

    It’s very tragic that she’ll be passing soon, but she forged a mark in me and my family. We were her caretakers, but really she was the one that care-took our hearts. I’ll always love her for that.

  15. This is quite possibly the worst week possible for a direct for me, as I’ve just become aware. On top of my AP test, I have the biggest test of the year in Latin as well as a bunch of projects to do. Ugh, at least I can see the summer-y light at the end of this tunnel.

    • I wish Latin had been an option when I was at school.
      All we got was mandatory French and German.
      If I’d had the choice I would have avoided German completely.

            I don’t know what the french equivalent of AD is and I couldn’t remember anything over 100.

            Technically that should have been a comma before ‘mais’, but I’m always forgetting that with English connectives anyway 😛

          • For a start ‘parler’ is the verb on its own, it should be ‘parle’ in present tense like in “Je ne parle Francais”. I don’t remember much about avoir except it has some crazy rules. The rest I only have half an idea about. I recognise the verb ‘partir’ but can’t remember what it is. I’ve got a feeling it’s related to going somewhere, but I’m probably just seeing false etymology in ‘depart’.

          • You don’t use pouvoir though. You just speak a language, you are not able to speak one :).

          • Note: I got a C in French in my GCSEs. Aparently this sort of nonsense passes as ‘acceptable’.

        • Actually it’s very useful because it’s the basis of most of the European languages and makes it easier to reason about the meanings of various English words. The vast majority of complicated English words have their etymology founded in either Greek or Latin.

          (I have a Latin dictionary I sometimes flick though. If nothing else it’s handy when trying to name things.)

          • Well, yeah if you want to learn French, Spanish or Italian it’s useful. For German, Dutch, Danish, Swedish not so much. But the latter are the better European countries to live in though 😛

          • French and Italian are two languages I wouldn’t mind knowing. Spanish would probably be useful though I’ve no great interest in it.
            Denmark and Sweden would probably be ok to visit but I wouldn’t want to stay.
            As for Germany, absolutely no interest whatsoever.

            I’ve been to France, Greece, Egypt and Bulgaria before, if I can visit Italy and Japan someday, that’ll be all the most interesting countries done.

          • That doesn’t mean all Britons will be eternally prevented from travelling to mainland Europe. Britain’s not a part of America, Africa or Asia but everyone can still travel there.

          • Eh, if I’m going to the trouble of planning a holiday I can live with the extra forms. Besides, I’d have to do it for Japan anyway.

  16. BotW done all Divine Beasts, got the Master Sword, completed the memories quest and cleared about 50% of the shrines. Should i just go to Ganon or explore more first?

  19. It’s just occurred to me that ORAS acknowledged that there was a Litleo constellation (this fact was inconviniently removed from the English version).

    Also Zinnia’s Whismur was names Aster, and it was apparently named after the previous Lorekeeper.

    And her Japanese name is based on the red spider lily, known as the ‘flower of heavens’ in Buddhist scriptures.

  22. Have any new trademarks been filed in regards to a new set of Pokemon games? That is how we got our first look at the Sun and Moon logos last year.

          • It fluctuates. By the 4th year I gave up and stopped caring about my grades, and that’s how I didn’t get any As. The moral of this story? I live in a shit town that has a shit school full of shit people, but I’m glad I went to the ‘good’ school and not the alternative – in my school the kids were only smoking and shoplifting, the other place was doing drugs and knifing.

          • Damn that’s awful about the alternative, but it’s great you went to that better option.

            Hardly anyone played video games or watched anime, they were all into lame normal hobbies like sport and horse riding and sport and reading novels.

          • Except I never get round to watching anime these days, and everyone here plays console games rather than computer games. And the ones who play computer games mainly play Overwatch and/or don’t use Steam.

            I know, I’m hard to please 😛
