A new variation of the 2DS console has been announced, this time sporting a bigger screen and similar clam-shell design to its 3DS siblings. While a black and turquoise version will be the only one launching in the US, an orange and white model will be released in Japan and possibly Europe as well.
Unlike the original 2DS it includes a c-stick which makes playing games such as Super Smash Bros. and Monster Hunter easier. It also includes the ability to utilize NFC technology to scan Amiibo figures placed on its lower screen. Its suggested retail price is $149.99 in the US and it will debut on July 28.

So this is a bit off topic, but I kind of found it so funny and Tragic that its worth mentioning. A bunch of Japanese Zoo’s were partnering with the studio that Made Kimono Friends since it does promote educational facts about animals, which was to put cut-outs of the animal girls in the cages with the animals. The one though that caught the Internets heart was the penguin Grape-kun, who seemed to obsess over the 2D cutout almost like he was in love with it. Well as it turns out the poor little guy has been separated from it as it seems be become so obsessed with it that he wasn’t eating and spending most of his time with it. The Zoo’s answer to all of this was to simply say that he was spending to much time with his Waifu for his own good.

Probably gonna stop doing more than minimum battles in competitions now, all anyone use are the Tapus. I feel like I must be the only one not using one because literally everyone I’ve faced has at least one on their team.

Was caught in a car crash yesterday evening, had a frontal collision with another car. Car’s total loss but I’m fine. Scare of my life though, never again.

I’m perfectly fine. Partially because we were driving half tank / half car, known as the Volvo V40 aka one of the safest cars ever made. Probably would have sustained a head injury if we took the other car.

Yeah, we were at an intersection driving straight with green light, and they came from the other direction deciding the turn left in front of us. They cut their corner far too sharp so we banged them almost at the end of the intersection too. Driver wasn’t paying attention at all I think, or must’ve thought that she could make it in time.
