As previously announced, today marks the first post-Switch Nintendo Direct!

Airing at 3pm PST we’ve been specifically promised a focus on Splatoon 2 and ARMS, but the official press release mentions that it will cover both the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo 3DS. So who’s to say some Pokemon news wont pop up?
In the mean time, what are your predictions for the Nintendo Direct? Is this the beginning of Pokemon Stars pre-release?
UPDATE: Unfortunately, and perhaps expectedly, no Pokemon news was discussed during this Nintendo Direct.

i only play pokemon on my 3ds and I would like to change that because else I only play a game any other two years or so.

I know (and played) some of the older games of those franchises (back in the ds days), but didn’t find them very interesting
Awakening is loads more enjoyable than older Fire Emblem games for a newcomer. New Leaf is the best Animal Crossing there is, and A Link Between Worlds is pure fun. Dual Destinies isn’t the best in the series, but it’s a great visual novel, you have to like reading 30 hours of only text though.

Eh, I’ll pick up MK8D a lot later. I didn’t care too much for the battle modes of past games so its only selling point is portability. Hoenstly I’m shocked and dissapointed they didn’t add new tracks. I know we already have a ton, but it’s dissapointing.
The biggest news would be Nintendo announcing that they shipped some new stock of the Pro Controller, I pre-ordered one three months ago and still haven’t received it.
My parents said they ordered me one from a third-party seller and then it was marked as “returned” even though it was never received.

Honestly I can’t see this direct revealing anything crazy. we’ll likely get a release date for Splat2 and Arms. Plus then maybe some small stuff for the 3DS.
I think if we get anything Pokemon related it’ll be more of a teaser or a reveal of a later reveal tbh

nupe, the fact that amputation of your legs in hopes to reduce bloodpooling to the legs when flying does sound good in theory but actually removing the legs means less room for blood to circulate and they’re actually in worse condition to do so

Who’s actually expecting a Pokemon reveal? I think I’m making myself pessimistic so if we do get it I’ll be more hyped but if we don’t I’ll be less disappointed
I always expect the worst so I’m not disappointed when nothing happens but rather excited if something does end up happening.
I am 100% absolutely certain we will not see Pokemon. I’m expecting ARMS, Splatoon 2, and maybe a 3DS game I won’t care about.
I’m not expecting any new reveal to be honest, Pokémon will get teased closer to E3.

If you’re in the US, Twitch should be fine, but it’s the worst service I’ve ever used in Europe even though I have 150 Mbit internet. Crashes constantly, lags, bad image quality…
