New Nintendo Direct Announced

A new Nintendo Direct has been announced for April 12 (3PM PT/6PM ET) with new information about Nintendo Switch and 3DS games. The main focus will be on Arms and Splatoon 2, but we will probably hear about other games as well.

Anyone want to be super optimistic and hope for our first Pokémon Stars tease?!

  1. Well at Gamestop the worker said they are making Stars for the Switch going to test for it to see if it is works on it if so will produce it and if sales are good they are fully converting, but if not it stays on 3DS

  2. I hope Stars is teased, but usually Pokemon reveal a new game separately from Nintendo Directs. But since Marshadow was revealed and there’s an emphasis on Sinnoh for the 20th movie, maybe we could expect an announcement for Sinnoh Remakes at the direct.

  3. Down to 9 Shrines and one single memory remaining in BotW. I really don’t want to look up a guide for those shrines because I didn’t really do it for any of the other ones. Maybe I don’t have a choice though…

  4. Wait Big Bro you gave me an idea

Pick out your Western Zodiac Element and your Chinese Zodiac Animal, then make a Fakemon based around it. Earth can be Grass, Ground, Rock, and Bug; Fire can be Fire, Fighting, Steel, and Fairy; Water can be Ice, Water, Poison and Dark; and Air can be Dragon, Flying, Ghost, and Normal.

    • Ehh, hard call, but I’d say given its about 2 months to E3, we won’t see any new games. Maybe localizations/ports, but nothing new.

      • Mm, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get an announcement before E3 for the Pokemon game seeing ad the past few games haven’t been announced at big events, and since it’ll likely be a third version/remake I’m wondering if it’ll even show up at E3 (iirc ORAS didn’t, I might be speaking rubbish tho)

That of course is completely based off of the past, traditions can be broken

        • Who knows really, but given the next games in the remake schedule are the Sinnoh games, its a hard call. Their very love hate, and it could be something you want to announce at E3 since people more complained about the gen 4 engine then gen 4 being bad. But who really knows.

As for third versions, I don’t find it likely. Its fairly clear that they’ve abandoned the idea of making them.

    • It would be very, very bizarre if GF waited until beyond early May to announce this year’s game. I feel like, why would they wait a few weeks to announce at the last minute instead of using this Direct opportunity?

      • If the word impossible says “I’m possible” does that mean that the word is saying that the word is possible itself? meaning that the impossibility is a possibility?

  6. I’m away to bed, so the last of my spam

Samurott should’ve been Water/Fighting and gotten Sacred Sword the same time the Honedge line got it: Emboar should’ve been Fire/Ground in referral to mud wrestling

  7. Say what you want about Overwatch but dang they listen to their fans so well. Sombra ARG was terrible? Make a quick Orisa one with good build up. Too many holiday events? Story related event

    • Too be fair though part of the issue with Sombra was the fact that her build up was hinted in coded messages that less then one percent of players could figure out, so their was some salt built up there. But yeah, its great to see some new story content. Now all I need is some sort of necromancer omnic/cyborg and this game will be perfection to me.
