  6. The Splatoon 2 Global Testfire was good…really good. The gyro controls work really well and I found it cool how you could point to where you wanted to warp to with your controller. Graphics are amazing as well.

    • Hmm. I”m not really a fan of them myself. I found it really hard to aim with them and ended up turning them off. But glad to hear they worked for ya.

  8. Also, I couldn’t figure out how to get into Goron City so I just cooked myself some food and rushed it as fast as I could, and it actually worked. Now I have the armor and I’m on my way to the last Divine Beast 🙂

      • It’s the 4th one. I really enjoyed the Gerudo mission, that was probably my favorite of all (but really, they’re all my favorite)

    • A little late to help, but for future play-through’s their’s a girl at a stable just outside the death mountain area that will sell you potions to resist the heat. She even outright says you’ll die if you go up there without them, but she’s easily missable.

      • I was actually looking for something like that but then I just said “screw it” and kept running in one direction while healing and I stumbled on Goron City much quicker than I had anticipated.

  9. Splatoon 2 thoughts:
    – My skills hold intact
    – STUPID JUMP BUTTON CHANGE WHAT THE HECK?! I’ll get used to it but it caused me more splats than I’d like to admit.
    – if you liked or had interest in the first, you’ll like the second. They’re fundamentally the same game.
    – I loved musselforge, hate the other one.
    – pro controller motion controls feel more on point than the gamepad did

  11. Who’s bloody idea was to make the next GTF at 7AM?
    After struggling with my Switch’s reluctant Internet connection now I’m being further punished by a lack of players to start games with, reducing my playtime to a mere 12 minutes

  13. Did anyone else experience a much larger number of idle players in this testfire? Normally I would think I just have bad luck, but there were idle players in almost a half of the games I played. Once there were 3, and I experienced none in last night’s one. Could this be a connection thing?

          • I just hope they make a decent roller with a Kraken,
            kraken is my best defensive ability

            (also a lot of the times i just immediately hide in my trail and nobody pays attention)

          • I just want a carbon copy of the Splattershot Jr. in the game. I’ve perfected my play style with those exact weapons, so I hope I can use it again.
