Can we NOT get DP remakes. DP were horrible games (IMO). They were so boring and slow, and the story and legends, and that whole Gym 4,5,6 confusion. Ugh just so awful. And variety of pokemon was just horrible.
HOWEVER, I am open for Platinum remake/ sequel. But definitely sequel. I dont think we need remakes, I know remakes are more likely for kids who never played Sinnoh to know what sinnoh was like, but if they can make sequels where you dont NEED to play the past games to understand then that will be perfect.
wait…..i thought the gym confusion was from platinum. oh and i feel like if they where to make them again they would make it a lot easier to get to the gyms but the gyms would be more tricky to go through.
Maybe. HGSS makes me say they will incorporate Platinum elements which is fine. ORAS makes me say it will just be DP with just good graphics. So I honestly dont know what to expect.
And the gym confusion Im talking about is how After Gardenia you had to skip Fantina and go to Maylene, and then go to Wake THEN Fantina. That whole mess confused me so much as a kid

Look at GSC gyms then look at HGSS. HGSS makes them all so much better

Honestly the only real flaws I can think of is
– How long it takes to get the GB Player
– Dragon’s Den music still sucks
– Level Curve
other than that these games were near perfect. I’ve been considering starting either HGSS or Platinum up again

Johto is the blandest a Pokémon region has ever been.
Even most of the Pokémon are bland
The plot is shit.
It just feels sluggish and the wild Pokémon are at such low levels.
However
Walking with Pokémon, 16 gyms and Red as a super boss are all things which I loved
Have you been to Kanto? I don’t really know how you can argue it’s bland.
And the plot is non-existant. It wasn’t about the story, it was about your adventure. Which is something I wish pokemon would stick to. Either do an amazing story like BW and SuMo or a more personal adventure like HGSS or FRLG.
ORAS couldn’t do both.
