A brand new competition has been announced on the Pokémon Global Link for players of Pokémon Sun & Moon! This competition will reward previously unobtainable Mega Stones as a participation reward; competitors will receive a Pidgeotite and a Steelixite. Pokémon will be limited to those found in Sun and Moon as well as originally found in Red, Blue or Yellow!
Registration for the Kanto x Alola Regional Rumble begins March 9, 2017, at 0:00 UTC. The competition goes from Friday, March 17, at 00:00 UTC, until Sunday, March 19, 2017, at 23:59 UTC. Trainers will be limited to 15 battles per day.

No Pokemon site reminded the International Challenge where it was the only way to get some Mega Stones (from the 24th to the 26th of Feb) 🙁 So I lost the chance.
Going to be nice to get Steelixite. However, I don’t suspect my team will use many from Kanto.
