February 27th is ‘Pokémon Day’, but even though that’s technically tomorrow at the time of this post, it doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate early! Here are the events straight from the official press release (bolding mine):
- Pikachu will lead the Pokémon Day celebration in Pokémon GO. From February 26, 1:00 pm PST, to March 6, 1:00pm PST, any Pikachu encountered in the wild will be wearing a festive party hat! The Pikachu caught during that time will keep its party hat, so be sure to look for this special Pikachu during its short time in the wild.
- Pokémon Day marks the debut of the new Gallery Figures collection in the Pokémon Center. The first set includes awesome figures of Eevee, Mew, Magikarp, and Pikachu—each performing its signature attack. These figures were designed specifically for the Pokémon Center, so this is the first time anyone will be able to get their hands on them. Check out the Pokémon Gallery Figures collection in the Pokémon Center.
- Starting on Pokémon Day, revisit some of the best big-screen moments of Ash and his friends with a movie marathon on Pokémon TV. New translations for the games aimed at that market, I think I read of other hints but I can’t remember. It is a very large market so it seems fairly likely eventually. I would prefer Canada or the UK though.

In your most honest answer yet, Would you Prefer the main series Pokemon games to stay on the 3ds and its sucessor (nintendo says there will be one, and ik that the switch can become it) or put it on the switch?
Proper handheld for me, it would feel wrong otherwise, much as I love colosseum.

Definitely DEFINITELY the switch. I wanna play it on the TV, Pokemon is a huge system seller, and I feel like if GF chooses to stay on the 3DS then they’ll make a 3DS successor, which would negate the point of the switch.
Switch without a doubt. Nintendo reps like to talk about there being a 3DS successor, but in all reality that’s the Switch. It’s a new concept to Nintendo fans for them to only have a single catch all system, but from the looks of it that’s where they’re going. If they really want to sell the Switch as both a regular console AND a handheld then they shouldn’t even be thinking about making another system that does even half of that better than the Switch. At this point they need to focus on making the Switch the main thing and maybe the next time they release something (second iteration of the Switch or new system altogether) it’ll have better battery life, more handheld capabilities and be a higher res screen on the tablet part. Even without the Stars rumor I could tell you hat the Switch is the next step for Pokemon lol

3- Fighting.
Honestly, the main reason I hate this type is I HATE humanoid pokemon. I dont want to command a Pokemon that looks like it might want to arm wrestle me afterward. Plus the designs seem pretty boring. Just a bibedal humanoid pokemon that likes to punch/kick. Woopty doo. They are all just so ugly. (Uglies: MewtwoX Monferno Emboar line Kommo-o)

What can I say. they are basic normal types. Points for varing designs buts thats all I can give it points for. They all just look so boring, and the pokemon that are dual typed with normal barely show the “normal” characteristics. Besides, What are normal type characteristics??

I feel that is a very annoying type, I find most mons in this group to be kinda ugly, I know that they look ugly on purpose……. but they still look ugly :v

Why this type even exist in the first place, imo this type is basically a bootleg of ground type with mons that don’t a have a design as good as ground type mons and overall weaker but I still love Lycanroc and Gigalith tho

3. Grass. Okay, so I like a lot of grass Pokemon…but the typing is just not really good. 5 weaknesses is just too much so odds are they’re carrying something that will be super effective to you.
2. Fighting. They all tend to be the same thing with different designs. High attack, high defense. They’re annoying as fuck to fight cause odds are you won’t OKHO them unless you’re carrying a special attacker or are boosted, and they’ll gonna beat the fuck out of you in return. The designs are also generally not good. A majority are bipedal and creepy looking because they’re humanoid. And then you find gross NSFW fanart from all the sick fucks on the internet when you are just casually strolling around the web. Also, it’s super effective to FIVE types. That’s fucking ridiculous, imo. They should remove dark’s weakness to it or something.
1. Rock. Probably the most boring typing with the worst move pool. It should’ve been combined with ground a long time ago. Only a few of the designs are good and they’re always inferior to ground.
Ground is also good against 5 types.

I don’t hate normal, I just don’t like it too much. Generally it’s a useless side typing. Snorlax is one of my favorite mons though. And I’m still waiting for a ghost/normal and a better normal/psychic.
Sidenote: Probopass is one of the most disgusting pokemon ever created along with alolan golem. Funny that they’re both rock type..

I’m not hydrophobic but I don’t feel good about water. I’ve also never seen attacking with water moves as being cool as fire, ice or electric moves.

Honestly I don’t think I have any other type I dislike other than the Fairy typing.
And this mainly stems from competitive battling. Many of my favourite Pokemon have terrible weaknesses to the Fairy typing, i hate that GF seem to love it so much tacking it onto anything, it walls two types that are in my Top 5, has an unnesseary Bug resistance.
It was just a complete failure of a balancing measure against Dragons in my opinion. Let’s replace a really strong typing with another really strong typing, that should do it. Am I right?

I do agree it shouldnt have resisted bug (mainly because I always forget it does), how else do you balance a strong type through adding a type.

Today, the Japanese Splatoon Twitter account highlighted a small change being made to Roller weapons in Splatoon 2. If you keep ZR pressed for a certain amount of time while moving around, you get a slight speed boost. This should help Roller players with covering more turf and with more easily closing the distance to opposing players.
Ohohohoho this will make things a lot better, hopefully i can get my Krak-on Roller or at the very least something with near identical properties.

So the whole Best buy glitch where the payment authorization on their end cancels out is a terrifying thought. I checked my own orders and nothing has changed, but I am certainly scared that my order will be compromised before the end of the week. At least Best Buy has acknowledged the glitch and has stated that if it happens you can contact them to figure something out. Still I’m more nervous now than I’ve been hahaha

See the thing is the “awaiting authorization” thing isn’t a bad omen or anything. The way they do it is they do an initial charge to test you bank account and then deposit it back in until closer to the date of the preorder. the problem is that they are having legit issues with a glitch that is essentially cancelling out the order by not letting Best Buy confirm the authorization. They’ve already apparently started trying to fix the problem, but it is quite nerve racking.From what I’ve heard you’d likely get another email or some kind of notification that says there is a problem. So if your order is the same as always it’s likely not going to freak out. Just unnecessary spooking is coming from this lol

Ehh, does it really matter though? Its Zelda, where most of the fun comes from your own journey and not so much the story, even more so when you can fight the final boss right from the start of the game and win if your good enough. And thank you to the people who pointed that point out to me the other day that this was something known since E3.
but this Zelda is shown to be more story driven, yea u can do your own exploring but it does suck to get spoiled only a few days away from the game
I’d argue its the opposite though with it being the least story driven Zelda game to date. With most of the 3D games; the’re super linear and really only gradually open up the further you go on. This is a game that openly allows you to skip pretty much anything in the story if you so desire. But yeah it sucks to be spoiled if you care about spoilers.
Well who knows really, yea you can skip the whole story and go beat the final boss with nothing but your underwear and a sword, but the story seems to be deeper then most zeldas. we dont even know how big the story is maybe it not even worth skipping or maybe it is who knows

My only dislikes is the lack of actual fingers (they could’ve given it insane talons and claws of stone) and they got rid of the arrow on its tail which it got its name from

I think the worst instance with getting angry at a game was when I was fighting Gardenia as an 11 year old in Diamond. I had just gotten back into pokemon after skipping gens 2 and 3 (so I sucked) and her Roserade was evil incarnate. I couldn’t beat it and I was literally like in tears lol. I had really bad problems with anger management back then

So I am now at the E4, my Pokemon are all mostly level 45 (save for Emboar who is 47), and its been going well. My team currently now includes a Galvantula, Sawsbuck, and a Beartic. I will say that this is a team I’m having so much fun using, partially because they are all very distinct from one another in moves they use and their power. I hope that Stars is a sequel and we get like a HGSS Lavender town makeover for it. And then we can rehabilitate it and make little facilities. Or maybe the Skull grunts expand it and build a battle frontier for all of them to train
