Generation II Coming to Pokémon GO: Trailer

Pokémon GO is about to get even bigger!

It has been announced that Pokémon GO is set to receive a huge update later this week with a ton of new content.

  • New Pokémon: over 80 new Pokémon from the John region will soon begin appearing in the game
  • New Evolutions: some Kanto Pokémon will be able to evolve into new Pokémon using new items that trainers can find at PokéStops
  • New Encounter Gameplay: several new encounter actions for Pokémon have been added, meaning they may react differently than before! Items can now also be selected in the capture screen using the new item carousel
  • New Berries: two new berries will be added to the game both bringing new benefits to trainers who use them. The Nanab Berry will slow the Pokémon it is given too, making it easier to catch, whilst the Pinap Berry will double the amount of candy you receive if you successfully capture the Pokémon in your next turn
  • New avatars and wardrobe items: finally players will be able to give their avatar a completely new look with an expanded selection of hats, shirts, pants and more!

It’s been a long time coming, but it’s almost finally time to catch those Johto Pokémon! Who’s excited?!

  1. Just hatched a shiny Pichu. And I wasn’t even trying to get one, but it took less than 30 eggs.
It’s pretty much flawless in IVs but I’m not going to use it for anything because what I was trying to hatch was a male Pichu with HP Ice. This shiny is female and has no HP Ice.
Also, don’t know if I should evolve it into Alolan Raichu or wait until we get a game where we can evolve into regular Raichu. Alolan Raichu looks like it spent too much time in the sun. To be honest, I don’t really like any of the shiny variants of the Pikachu line. I’ll still keep it but it’s a bit of a ”meh” feeling.

    • I always wanted to be a pirate
But I also had this idea for a bunch of robotic Pirates for a series I had

Captain Ironskull and the Metal Marauders

        • the captain has a harpoon gun for a peg leg and a robotic parrot bot
also a gluttonous galley chef, a sly….Rasta bot hunter, and some kinda crazy tinkerer who operates the ship

          • But as cool as they sound they’re actually terrible at being Villians, especially compared to the real threat the Iron Armada led by the feared and vile Lord Nekros who seeks the legendary six panels to the inficube when reassembled can manipulate the very cosmos on whim

          • And this guy has a ton of elite henchbots….except the very comical and stupid duo of Slash and Burn
A maniac buzzsaw wielding demolition bot and Burn a witty cold hearted automaton with a flamethrower staff, despite their deadliness they bicker and are genuinely bad at tasks that require them to not destroy stuff

  2. AAAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH EARTHEN SO BORED AND ANGRY
The switch is nearly 2 weeks away and I’m so freaking antsy about it, today is just a gigantic obstacle in my next gen console conquest and Earthen hates things that get in his way

Tomorrow I’ll have the new season of Race to the Edge to keep me busy but the upcoming week will be the last full week of preparation as we enter into what I call the endgame, where I gotta be absolutely prepared for the release because I don’t know how many pre-ordered for the Best Buy I go to but since the GameStop is literally next door that could thin out the herd

Just need to pick up the console and game, I mean I preordered extremely early so I must have a decent window of opportunity, the very last thing I need to happen is my transaction or preorder to get botched and forcing me to wait

Then I can spend the rest of the weekend in my basement with a bag of chips a case of gallons and playing what could easily be the #1 game of 2017

      • Who cares, Breath of the wild literally takes my breath away, the beautiful unsullied world we will embark on truly feels alive, everything moves and breathes with serenity, but that calmness will be fractured by peril and excitement, this story could change literally everything as we know it,

  5. I’m actually pretty stoked for this update. I got my hopes up when I saw that an update was ready, but it was just the UI update and not the actual Pokemon…….Either way I’m excited to actually get to catch some brand new (to GO anyway) Pokemon lol

  6. Switch review systems and games are being received. So breath of the wild could leak if someone bad gets their hands on it
