Seeing how Beast Boost is gained from the Ultra Wormhole, what do you guys think would happen to an Ultra Beast’s ability if it doesn’t come into contact with a Wormhole or Wormhole energy?
So basically what if you hatch an UB if it was possible in the real world?
No, I was meaning what if a pre-existing Ultra Beast spends a long time away from a Wormhole
Begins deforming and turns into an Ultramon? Basically it gets radiated by the regular Pokemon aura and turns more into a Pokemon-esque thing, like Celesteela shrinking from 30 feet to 8 feet and its rocket launchers becoming a ring surrounding it.
I’m pretty sure their physiology would remain the same, I doubt the Beast Boost is what determines their physical structure because they only seem to get it when crossing through wormholes.
If they were to adapt beyond their ability, it’d probably take time and breeding.
Maybe it just has a standard ability.
Xurkitree would probably have Lightening Rod

Buzzwole-Iron Fist, or a new Big Root-like Ability

Well I’m not exactly fond of any Ultra Beast since it’s just another handful of op legends the annoying masses can abuse
But they’re all either frail af (Pheromosa, Kartana, Xurkitree, and to a much lesser extent Buzzwole) or just bad (Guzzlord)

Guzzlord is the best Pokemon, ABSOLUTELY use it against Mina! SURELY nothing will go wrong! It has the best typings, it can one hit KO Fairies!

True, but most Pheromosa are more physically inclined due to the higher BP of Physical Moves. Moxie is probably the closest it gets to Beast Boost.
Granted it loses out on Gaining Speed for every kill

A perfect ‘nerf’, if even needed, would keep them usable but not overused
Tbh I think it should get a Cute Charm where it can rarely inflict it by attacking and being attacked, it’s 1HKOing or being 1HKO’d for Pheromosa so it wouldn’t be broken imo

Well I use showdown to build and test teams and so far Specially Defensive Oranguru holds up very well and the Colbur Berry really well since Salazzle resists bug

So I was using a Ghetsis themed team on AG, and I came across this hacker (you’ll see why this person is a hacker) so I started off with my Cofagrigus first. It stayed alive for the longest time:

I think it was when his Arceus already fainted but somehow he was able to switch into Arceus after Darkrai was somehow able to swap into it.
That have been the Zoroark. You never really attached it to break the illusion.
Iirc Illusion doesn’t copy fainted team mates
Could’ve sworn that Illusion worked with Teammates that are still alive. But another thing I want to point out is Arceus can’t learn Foul Play, and somehow this person had that move on the Ghost Arceus

The first Arceus was probably Zoroark. The second one was the real one.
Couldn’t have been because I attacked the second one with Shadow Ball, but it stayed the same. Ontop of that, it had Extreme Speed and Shadow Force, which Arceus could learn. So it wouldn’t be possible for him to have a second Arceus on the field, thus making him a hacker.

I was confused why my lvl 100 shiny Mega Diancie I got from someone which is probably hacked but I don’t care I love it so but now I can’t use the mega cuz Sun and Moon has none of it and if it did there would’ve been a depressing summary of its mega form as it probably would say it sucks up the lives of other Carbink and other Rock Pokemon like Gigalith and Geodude to make the diamonds didn’t one-hit KO Blissey.
I used blissey competitively in oras though not as good as pre evo. Its still fun

I have a strange question; why do Riolu summon Chansey? I found one randomly and despite the legends of it being hard to catch, I caught it after 2-3 balls.
Baby Pokémon will summon Happiny and Chansey
That’s why I got a Happiny when Pichu summoned! It makes so much sense now!
Low key hope for Stars:
Lusamine’s actions have resulted in numerous infantile Ultra Beasts escaping into the wild, unmonitored due to not being as destructive as they could be yet, and have entered the public eye. However, evolving in Alola has made them adapt to the environment, and creates more stable Alola Forms of Ultra Beasts that don’t have Beast Boost and have more balanced stats
We’d get prevos for the UB-02s and UB-04s, and a handful of new Ultra Beast evolution lines.
In the post-game, you’d find Nihilego, Xurkitree and Guzzlord without Beast Boost, but the species appear physically and statistically unchanged due to not having evolution to adapt as quick. If they were to change, they’d need a much longer period of time.
All Ultra Beasts transferred from SuMo will remain the same
I hope you don’t mind if I add a few things;
– Megas or at least bring some more back (Diancie)
Diancie is event, why would that be the priority
They did that for ORAS and X/Y, and Diancie was an X/Y event, so….
My hope is that Aether foundation creates a whole Ultra Dimension ripper that completely shreds the fabric of time and space around the Alola region and just billions of Ultra Beasts flood out
Or that a dimensional black whole sucks up an entire island into ultra space
I actually think this is a good idea. It stabilizes them as “Pokemon” more going forward into the series and allows them to eventually have a reason for being able to be found in the wild of other regions without having to resort to the wormholes opening up EVERY time they want to allow us to capture them. As of right now they’re considered outsiders. They need to find a way to make them be Pokemon-esque
They could have it so adapted Ultra Beasts are found like normal wild encounters, whilst having the original seven appear occasionally as ‘legendary battles’

I agree. That way they can still make the distinction of them being special while at the same time allowing them to better integrate into the Pokemon world. lol
They defo need a bit more integration in some way, even if it’s free travel to Ultra space

Pheromosa’s prevo would be the opposite of real Cockroach estate despite looking much like them: adorable, clean, and helpful. They ‘infest’ clean areas and keep them clean. Only females evolve.
Buzzwole’s evo would be much more like actual mosquitos in appearance and attitude: pests. But they only feast on the blood of the strong, and this stubbornness makes them rare. Either only females evolve to reflect IRL mosquitos or males to counterpart Pheromosa.
Celesteela’s prevo would be a cross of a seed and a flying saucer, just as Celesteela is a bamboo airship
Kartana’s evo would either be unfolded paper (lel) or an origami kunai

Palossand is something I’m really looking for to in Competitive play. It has a good amount of bulk to help itself, as it has 110 Defense plus Amnesia to help support its Sp Def. Ontop of that, it’s supposed to take Water Type attacks, and with a Weakness Policy it can be a bulky Sp Attacker.
I only wish It had like 20 more Special Attack
