  1. So everybody check your connection, make sure you’re actually online rather than just in the plaza.
Nobody’s on, we’re off to a great start lol.

  2. I don’t mean to mini-mod, but can we please reduce amount of battle reactions during the battle. It makes it slightly annoying when someone not in the battle sees it all

  3. I just got to Poni Island and I don’t want to play the game anymore. I’m bored. I was expecting so much more of Alola. SuMo has great characters (Lillie, Hau, Gladion) and that’s it. Team Skull are forgettable. The story is silly and uninspired. The region… Hoenn is a better tropical and diverse region! I know my opinion is very different, but that’s how I feel about the game right now. 🙁

    • Im glad someone else said this. It’s always how I felt. Everyone praises the story, but honestly I think the great characters blind the otherwise boring, and weird story.

      • By story, I mean Team Skull. It’s all just so weird. What I’ve been told, team skull steals pokemon and Aether foundation saves them to cover up Lusamine’s plan and make her seem like the good guy. Which is kinda cool, but I totally missed it while playing

        • I can agree with this.

I didn’t understand it until after I thought about it for a while, and even then, if the “saving pokemon” was all an elaborate ruse, then what does the aether foundation do now?

          • Moon golf says. They were just listening to Lusamine, and are actually good, but Lusamine was just the bad one

          • It still doesn’t add up though. If the main goal was to save pokemon from team skull, then what do they do now that team skull has disbanded? Or do you they just save pokemon in general?

          • It’s just in general, it’s established the moment you meet them

For example, saving Corsola from over hunting by Toxapex

          • Ah, I forgot about that.
The story is much deeper than any other pokemon game, I will say that. The climax was the most dissapointing part for me, but the raid of the AF was super exciting.

          • I loved the Climax do kinda wish that after killing all of the pokemon you battled Ultra Lusamine though. Poison/Fairy? Maybe just Poison/Rock since it is Nihiligo? Or no type at all?

        • Actually, the majority of Aether has good intentions and are doing what they think what’s right, unaware of what Lusamine, the dark side of the foundation, and Skull are doing.

      • Yes! The great characters compensates the poor story. I still think BW has a better plot. I know that at the end was the cliché bad guy wants to rule the world, but it really was about N, about using Pokémon as tools, about divergent ideas and points of view. SuMo is about a crazy woman and her strange kids…?

        • I really saw the story more of a character story than a “thing A happens then thing B happens” It is more about Lillie and Gladion and Lusamine and the other minor characters like Kukui and thats what I loved about it

    • I couldn’t disagree more there, but my advice, as typical as it may be, is to keep playing and you’ll enjoy it more (at least the story).
