  1. If gen 8 doesn’t give me my Dark/Fairy imp and Bug/Dark mosquito, I will issue a global boycott on everything Game Freak.

    Also, Poison/Steel, Electric/Fire, Electric/Dark, Fire/Fairy and Dragon/Fairy is desperately needed.

The Totem battles are pretty hard though, I like that.

  6. I feel ashamed but I need a S&M Break
I just need to do one dungeon of Zelda to calm my shattered nerves…

I just honestly don’t like how they botched how to do competitive things
SOS is crap, Hyper Training takes way too long to do it daily, there is no freaking Chanseys or Audino to kill
I just feel so lost right now it’s stressful….

  7. 20 Hours into S&M and I’m just about to head to the Ula Ula meadows. I feel like my team is seriously overleveled at this point but it’s cause I’m tryna catch all the Pokemon in the areas as I go through them.
    Incineroar lvl 47
    Decidueye lvl 45
    Lycanrock lvl 43
    Charjabug lvl 44
Gonna add my female lvl 1 Popplio to my team when I reach Po town and then I’ll be catching my Jangmo-o which will be very under levelled compared to the rest when I reach the final island
Having fun however so that’s always a plus

      • Well they all gain boosted exp cause of Refresh while Decidueye is also traded so he gets trade boosted exp. I’m always way overlevled in my first run of a new gen, when I get Moon, I feel like it’ll be a lot tougher for me cause I won’t be as focused on getting all the Pokemon as I have been now

      • I’ve found a shiny dewpider before shiny charm after 150 encounters. Today I got the shiny charm and I got a shiny Bagon after 147 encounters. Now I’m hunting for shiny eevee, I’m at 180 encounters and still nothing. People seem able to find shiny before shiny charm and with less then 100 encounters so imo shiny charm only encrease the chance for each ally to be shiny but like with wild pokemon (1/1300)

        • 3 trials isn’t enough to conclude anything imo. You’d need to look at the source code to fully prove that it does or doesn’t affect it.
Remember that the chance for finding a shiny is exactly that — a chance. It’s possible you’ll go over the odds. It’s possible that you’ll go twice over the odds. It’s possible you’ll get it on your first try.

There is something I’d like to point out though. Let’s say that the probability of finding a shiny is 1/K. This means that the probability of finding a regular is (K-1)/K. If you want the probability of finding x amount of pokemon and then a shiny, it would be P(x)=((K-1)/K)^x*1/K. Evidently, this decreases as x increases. So it’s possible that the higher you are in the chain, the lower your odds are. Though my math may be wrong because I’m not good at probability & statistics.
