I’d go for the nature that puts attack up and lowers Sp Def, it isn’t surging a hit there anyway 😀

Yea I’d go with what DR is saying on the -SpD. My Celesteela can none-STAB OHKO it with Flamethrower. There’s no savings it’s SpD.
UB-02 has the same attack and Sp.attack stat and access to quiver dance, so you could use it.
But it misses out on HJK, and since it’s frail you want to have it outspeed everything it can

depends on the quest. IN the case of beauty, 4 will spawn. two in one area, and two in another. Once you’ve knocked out or caught all four, the game eill tell you to report to looker, or 100kr.

With a bit of luck you should be able to get Jangmo-o while you’re traversing Vast Poni Canyon. I stumbled upon one before ever actively looking for one. And Vulpix isn’t hard to get.

I really like it, but goodness any super-effective special move is a guaranteed OHKO…thinking of putting it aside and using another Pokémon for when I challenge the league.
What nature are you using?
Mild, so the special attack is really good, and the defense is the low one.
Perhaps Calm would be better? Or Sassy maybe?
I think for now I’m gonna box it and see if I can find another ground type I like.

Ready to enter Po Town! I’m just over 36 hours into the game, and based on some comments I’ve been seeing, I’m in for a juicy part of the story!
How did you get 36? I spent 7h on the first island but then not as much on the others, but I still battled everyone
I was in a similar boat. I think my total playthrough clocked around 40 haha
Talked to every NPC, battled every trainer, got all of my Pokemon to 4 hearts of happiness, developed most of Poke Pelago, caught about 2 boxes full of Pokemon (also the reason why I’m slightly overleveled), spent quite a bit of time in Festival Plaza (mostly Wonder Trading), battled 4/7 Trial Captains, did some Stoutland hunting, acquired about half of the Zygarde Cells/Cores, and a bit of shiny hunting. In addition to following the main narrative, of course.
That explains it. I’m not planning on touching Poke Pelago or the Festival Plaza that much considering I’m resetting the game soon (in a month or so). I always get my pkm to 5 hearts because in my head I can imagine them liking me more and more haha
I can beat that. 40 hrs and I’m only just about to go back to the Aether House after doing the ghost trial lol Competition!!!!

Unfortunately you can’t. Inside the hotel there’s a door that almost seems like it’d be an entrance, but you can’t go through. There’s not even a prompt telling you anything.

Well, you have to admit, Squirrel is humanoid too, JYNX AND MR MINE are humans, Mewtwo is 99.9% Humanoid, Feraligatr and Typhlosion are also humanoid, not like gen 6/7 are the only ones, Gen 1 had the worst humanoids.

Ok so how would you feel if DP remakes made trials before a gym leader battle instead of a gym puzzle?
So replaced gym leader battles with totems instead? I don’t see how it would work in Sinnoh. Unless you had 8 trials and also had the ability to fight the leaders at some point.
No keep the battles just swap out puzzles for trials

In some form or fashion, it would definitely be nice if they learned from SuMo and made the gyms more involved.
I mean, I noticed the similarities between gym puzzles and trials while playing S/M. It seemed like all the trials had you do something as well as fight 2 or more pokemon, then the totem. Replace the wild pokemon battles with trainer battles, the tasks for the trials with puzzles, and the totem with a gym leader, and you basically have the gym system recreated.
Well I think it just comes down to that gyms had little more than an aesthetic and sometimes a puzzle involving switching and pathways. But the trials embraced the aesthetic and tried to give you something to do that lead up to the totem battle and felt like a natural extension of the type itself. So that’s what I’d like to see GF do. Think of a way to enhance the gym experience to where it’s more than just a couple trainer battles and walkway based puzzles.
