  1. Really taking my time with Moon, I’ve only just passed the Tapu Koko bridge cutscene and I’m super impressed. There are so many small details that have clearly been well thought out and it shows. The opening part of the game so far has been so refreshing with the break from the usual formula. I don’t remember the last time I was so instantly enthralled in a game.

  2. So I have 1 spot left on my team and can’t decide how to fill it. Ideally I want a Special Attacker. These are the types I can choose from: Dark, Psychic, Steel, Electric, Ice, Normal, Fairy, Flying or Ground. I may be able to cover some of these types in moves on my other ‘mon. I don’t really want to use Alolan Forms if I can help it, and definitely no older ‘mon. Lycanroc not learning Earthquake kind of messed my coverage.

  5. I lost to Sina because Glaceon wrecks my team, didn’t expect that. And I don’t even get to exact my revenge, she just walks off! Ouch.

  6. Toxapex is a monster. Walls Mega Mawile and Pheromosa like it’s nothing.
Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu are underwhelming. Tapu Lele is a beast. Tapu Fini is Bulky as hell.
Kommo-o can be good, but it’s movepool is too shallow

What I’ve gathered from playing in Showdown so far.
