well, I wish I knew that BEFORE I became champion. for those of you who do not know, visiting Kukui and showing him you have 50pages of the pokedex filled, he will provide you with a lucky egg.

funny, I stopped at 49 and decided to do it after I became champ, and had a hell of a time grinding the last of my team to 60 before taking on the league. the egg woulda saved sooooooo much time!
A lot of mine were sub-60 but I countered that by giving most of them at least one move with over 100 power and it helped a lot.
I decided to not use z moves, just like mega evolution. nut most of my team cant take a hit to save their lives (Salazzle, Lyanroc midday, with a DEF hindering nature, drampa is surprisingly more frail than its stats lead me to believe…) but we did it. well, bewear did it. most of it.
At first I hated Alolan forms but after using them I loved them dearly

Just be a slave driver and let other people do the work of finding the Pokemon for you. All you have to do is hatch starter, rockruff or crabrawler eggs. XD
speaking of which, where do you find ditto in this game?
On the grass next to the long road outside the third island observatory.
In my case not only is my starter female (bred it with a male pikachu), and I traded a Popplio for a Ditto, I bet Rockruff for Ditto would’ve worked.
I cant jump into wondertrade or GTS until I sync my game, which I’m confused on how to do.

I killed Nihilego in one hit on accident and I almost had a heart attack. Thank GOD they respawn.

yeah I just caught tapu koko, and he was a b*tch to catch. nice challenge compared to XYORAS where quick balls were the same as masterballs. I caught xerneas, zygarde, mewtwo, moltres, my shiny zekrom, musketeer trio, ho-oh, lugia, kogre, rayquaza and deoxys with a single quickball each in those games

About an hour for the league
The respawn mechanic for UB’s has also helped with Absorption. Normally I would complain about them making the game “too easy” in situations like these, but I would have been permanently scarred otherwise if I didn’t own the UB.
Tapu Fini was an absolute piece of work (took me about an hour and multiple attempts to catch), but I finally captured all of the Tapu guardians! Tomorrow I’ll continue from UB-03 and finish those as well. After that, who knows?
So my game will be available at the post office any time today. GET THERE FAST

Man games are just soooo fun. I beat great kahuna 2- 5th trial Yesterday and caught and evolved a bunch of new pokemon. I have always loved the trials because they are like minigames (something i used to wish pokemon put more into their games). The difficulty in these games are also amazing. I havent been losing to trials as much. But i lost to Hau and a couple of other important characters. Love. These. Games.
I do wish they made the new pokemon much easier to find. Since i dont know the new pokemon, i cant tell if there is none in a route or if there is one still hidden and its very annoying.

I’m writing a lot here because i’m too excited to play lol. Does anyone else play in other languages other than English? I’m currently learning Italian so I chose to play it in Italian (I can understand 90% of it so it’s not too much of a problem).
Well I’m a white American. We don’t believe in other languages. (Just kidding.) but I’m not on any level fluent in any other language other than English.
My native language is Portuguese so other romance languages are not really hard for me, but I understand why it would be for English speakers. You should def try to learn one though, it’s really useful (in your case Spanish because you’re in the US)
I’m more focused on learning to write. Also I’d really prefer to learn Japanese but that would truely be a life long dedication. :p
When I was younger my dream was to go to Japan so I would spend every free time I had studying Japanese. I finally gave up on it because it’s too hard x) (and I wasn’t gonna go there anymore)

am I the only one who ships the shit out of Hau and Acerola? They both have similar gestures, both are energetic af, both are shown together quite a bit in certain parts, and I just feel as they’d be adorable
