  1. My friend and I stayed up until 5AM before resting a couple hours and playing even more. We both have about 14 hours of gameplay time, and I just made it to the observatory. My thoughts: Sun and Moon are amazing games that bring my childhood dreams to life and will certainly be played for a long time.

    Torracat lvl 20
    trumbeak lvl 20

  3. Nintendo shipped 10 million copies worldwide for Sun/Moon, the largest for any Nintendo games and according to how many stores have already reported the games (both versions) being sold out, one can expect the games to be the first Nintendo/Pokemon games in a VERY LONG time to cross the 20 million threshold.

    • The worst part is, If you applied real-world physics to how pokémon moves seem to work or are described to work, this is pretty much accurate…

      • Also not for nothing Mudsdale weighs at least 2030lbs so anything underneath Mudsdale using Heavy Slam……lets just say every bone and fluid in your body will have an….out of body experience

        • But no, somehow in the pokémon universe it’s either cartoon physics or pokémon are absolute experts at controlling the intensity of their power…

          • I mean most Pokemon wild or not keep to themselves and don’t go around smashing or torching everything in sight unless provoked

  5. So I wanted to ask around
Anybody have any little stories of team Pokemon evolving?
I.e. My Rockruff evolved fighting a Trainer’s Sylveon, Torracat vs Olivia’s Lycanroc, and my Wimpod being chased down by a swarm of Araqunid

  6. I’m a bit overleveled for my second trial, so I boxed all my Pokemon, except Charjabug, and switched them for weak ones so I can level them up. Cutiefly is amazing <3

  7. So, I have to check the berries on the ground to Crabrawler appear? That’s how it works? Cause I’m SR on front of the berries and checking it and nothing happens.

  8. I’m about to face Olivia. The 3rd trial was so easy, but it did make me laugh out loud. I wasn’t expecting the Marowak dances to end like that xD

But did anyone else struggle with Mallow’s trial? Thanks to sunlight, the totem took out two of my Pokémon! Including my Snorlax, who got the benefits of being maxed out in Pokémon Refresh.

  10. Avoiding any and all use of Refresh like the plague…I hate how once your Pokémon’s affection goes up, it’s permanent and you start receiving exp boosts and all the other stuff. While maybe good for some, I’m trying to avoid making the game extra easy for myself LOL

  11. Emergency Exit : “When the Pokémon’s Hit Points it 50% or less, the Pokémon will switch out. Works once per battle”, can anyone confirm this? If you heal it it can’t work again?

  12. Great, I’m getting down-voted to hell on Reddit for trying to defend the developers from people who are butthurt about Alolan Marowak.

    -_-

      • It doesn’t get shadow bone without a heart scale. I get it, it sucks considering it’s a signature move, but people are saying GF should fire whoever made Alolan Marowak because of one silly thing.

          • Right. I’m not sure about the move relearner, but still, GF made these beautiful, amazing games for you, and you’re saying they should fire the developers?? I mean seriously, how much more immature can you get?

          • It’s one of my favourite Alolan Forms. It’s only one move, it has plenty of moves to use that work just fine. The fact of the amount of work that goes into these games can’t possibly be discarded by any rationally minded person over the age of 8 right? There are many things I dislike from what I’ve seen, like stats, movepools etc but I’m still glad we are still getting new games, and that they are trying to be innovative whilst delivering a game with enough familiarity as not to alienate existing fans.

          • Very well said, I’m glad somebody is overlooking a minor inconvenience and truly appriciating the games.

            I couldn’t agree more. 🙂

          • I mean I’ll appreciate them more when I can actually play one, still 4 days to go, depending on of it’s delivered upon release over here.

  13. Hau: Hey Lusamine, your pretty successful for someone so young.
    Lusamine: i’m actually 40.
    Hau: wait, really?
    Lusamine: -cold stare-

And Hau was never seen again.

    God I love this game.
