  1. My luck in Pokemon games.

Opponent is Confused, Paralysed and has an evasion drop. Still manages to hit 3 in a row.

I use Tackle against a Pokemon with Static. Instant Paralysis.

  2. Post-game / UB related
Looks like some, if not all, UBs will be able to be caught more than once. And we can get a Cosmog in the post game.

    • For most games, ranges. Usually its a few days before to the day of release. Ideally its a week before, but given how big a release this is, its a Japanese company, and how its already been leaked several times, It might be down to the wire.

  3. I live in Europe so I’ll only get it on the 23rd. If I download it, will I be able to play on 22nd at midnight? Will any stores sell it then? Do you think they may sell it before street date like they have previously?

    • I’m not as worried about what Trump will do in his presidency as I am about the fact he won, and the people who voted for him. He is going to have to calm down now, but the fact someone who used that kind of rhetoric won ( not just crude, but hateful, dividing and stupid) is not a good example.

    • That’s like saying we survived World War 2, we can survive World War 3.

They shouldn’t really be compared. But what you should do is accept that democracy has elected you a man called Donald Trump to run your country. Love it or hate it, that reality now. And Keep in mind Trump can’t do anything without going through the proper system. Any decisions made are made as a collective decision between the entire government, not just one man.

      • Well, pretty much, as the world’s greatest super power America would be a likely candidate to come out of WW3

Just as America can suck it up and accept the fact the people voted with the choices given and come out strong again some time in the future after reelections regardless of the damage done

        • Not entirely my point but Ok :p

People act as if the president has unlimited power. Who knows, Trump may even do good as a president. I’m not one to judge this early. I’m honestly more afraid if the racists that will come out these next coming weeks, trying to justify their racism. The same thing happened here with Brexit.

  4. Well. I’m leaving. This week has been extremely shitty. This isn’t because I’m not necessarily happy about the election, it’s because my closest friend, who supports Trump, keeps on bullying me for being a Democrat or even if I say something like “eh, I don’t care that much. I feel like Trump will do okay, and if not, he won’t last.” He keeps calling me a “flip-flopper” because I’m pro-democratic and now I’m showing acceptance towards Trump winning. I’ve been feeling emotionally harassed all week and I definitely don’t want to retreat to my home sweet home on the internet, only to have to see people argue over Politics again. You COULD say I could just ignore it, but it WAS my comment that started it and it’s sorta inevitable. I’ll be on the Forums if anywhere. Bye

      • You mean the divided thing? This is different. This is more HIM having to shove his “superiority” in my face. I don’t even say anything BAD about Trump. He just uses ANYTHING I say against me. I even deleted him off of my phone as a contact until he sort of apologized, but he still does it.

          • I know countless people who voted for Trump who aren’t racist nor sexist. Stop trying to pin that on people as if it makes you magically right. It doesn’t.

          • It bothers me that all the Hillary supporters were like “love not hate” “unity” “blahblahfeelings” but now they’re just HATING against Trump. How does it make them any better?

          • The problem isn’t that they support him, it’s that he Denies they do and Doesn’t think it’s a bad thing. Unless he has since that incident

          • Because under Trump, the worst kinds of people, the racists, the sexists, the homophobes have much more power. I’m not saing all Trump supporters are terrible people, but Trump is honestly a recipe for disaster. Between the wall(which is not going to get built but still), Pence, his flip-flops on LGBTQ issues, wanting to keep Muslims all together out of America (which has been removed from his website hmmmm)
It’s okay to be scared of it all

    • Kinda ridiculous tbh, you don’t deserve it for admitting defeat and seeing the bright side of things, or at least not seeing it as complete oblivion

Some Americans are so so hostile over politics, hope you feel better soon!

        • I’m just very Angry because Hillary knew she needed to Rig the Primary so she should have rigged the open/main/whatever but didn’t… at least as far as we know… she still could pay off the electoral college since she should know how that works… I’m just bitter that I’m stuck here With no job living with my Parents.

      • You aren’t morally superior for not voting Trump. And you’re not morally superior when you’re calling people, real people, fuckwads.

        • I’m just very angry, I don’t feel morally Superior for anything… I have had trouble sleeping because I can’t stop thinking of how nobody else seems to understand how serious this is.

          • It’s really not man. Regardless of how much you believe Trump will try to do, which he won’t even try to do anything destructive, the US is literally set up so that presidents can’t just do whatever they want. Just ask Obama. He had quite the headache the past 8 years.

          • That’s because Congress was mostly Republican, Drumpf is Republican, CONGRESS IS STILL mostly REPUBLICAN. which means they’re many times likely to go along with him than a democratic congress.

          • Yea but that doesn’t make him a king and politicians, historically, very seldom act on even half the crap they say on the campaign trail. For instance, I’ve always seen news reports on how Trump silently took down off his campaign website their stuff about wanting to ban Muslim immigration. Whether or not I agree with Trump on everything, it was very clear he was willing to say anything during the campaign, but was more than ready to say kind words about every he beat on his way to victory. He took mudslinging politics to an extreme, but he’s shown more than once his ability to turn on a dime and say kind things to people a believed put up a good fight.

    • I think you should stay. But obviously can’t make you. I supported neither but was ready to accept either as president cause that’s just reality. It made me very happy to see you doing the same. I’d like more people like you to stick around.

    • As my Calc III professor put it, Trump can’t do much. We’re all a flock of sheep, and one sheep happens to lead us for some time. America is a tide, and the one molecule on the tip of it supposedly drags the rest of us, but that doesn’t mean what they do we HAVE to do. We’re still our own people, with our own beliefs, our own desires. He’s already backpedaling on some policies from what I’ve seen. Trump is President, but we shouldn’t hate him for it. Otherwise we’re just like those who hated Obama when he was elected. Just gotta deal with it.

What I’m personally worried is what people bring from Trump’s win over Hillary. I’ve heard stories of Hispanics being bullied in my hometown because Trump’s supporters are racist. I’m worried about the stories I hear from my friends in NY, whose friends have been told to “move to the back of the bus if Trump is president now.”

    • Believe me, my best friend is a Republican who would have voted for Trump ifshe didn’t have issues with her voting info and whatnot. But we both know that at the end of the day, what we have are opinions and shouldn’t be used against the other. Real friends don’t bully their friends just because their friends happen to accept the fact that the other candidate won and there is a bright side.
I’ve said all that I’ve said before about this election somewhere else, so I have no need to continue it here, hence why I’ve been silent.
I’m like you though, at the very least we should just love each other and move past this. We’re all people at the end of the day, that just happen to have different opinions. Comfort the people who are scared by this decision, respect the ones that decided for it. Maybe, if we did that, we can heal.
I went off on a tangent, but I think you got the idea.

      • We’re still pretty young and my friend appreciate me for my my ability to tolerate, so I don’t think that’s a problem for me. Trust me, if I texted him “hey dude, can we not talk about the election ever from now on?” he’d say “okay”

        Reply
        • Yeah totally understand. Even if we still love each other as best friends, we’ve been avoiding the election topic because we both would probably get super heated because of it.
I hope things do get better with your friend though. Maybe, one day, let him know how you feel about his actions so he can understand for himself and grow from it? At least, that’s what I would do in that scenario and what I would expect my friends to do if I did it to them.

  7. Guys, this is Pokejungle. It’s gotten kinda out of hand with all of the politics chat, and we don’t need anybody leaving as a result. Let’s keep things Pokemon related or we’ll have to shut the chat down for a while. If you have anything to say, be wary of other’s opinions and feelings, as there’s no need for bullying or hate regardless of your political beliefs. Be reminded we are a community of loving fans, so let’s treat each other with that same love and respect. I know we can do it!

      • Good question. We know what pokemon we can catch on each island and everything but that doesn’t mean that those are the pokemon that are given to us. You technically can get Ash-Greninja if you have the demo which kind of counts, but other than that I really wonder. I would like to get access to the Sinnoh starters.

    • What I liked in the Kanto starters was the order, perfect balanced transitions from one evolution the next, not only in design but theme ( the budding flower for example). Also the final three were very similar in terms of design too. I like the Alola stater finals individually, and probably prefer all 3 to the original Kantos, but as a group they’re weaker. If you’re asking about the mega evos, Kanto wins as all three mega designs were awesome. ( Not really a fair comparison though as Alola don’t have megas yet)

    • Alola starters. I love all of them, like I love all of the 4th gen ones.
The other set of starters, including Kanto, there’s at least one where I sorta like them, but not on the level as the others in the set.

    • Honestly, I prefer the Alola starters over the Kanto ones any day. Ever since the final evolutions were leaked months ago, I’ve been in love with every single design. Usually, there’s at least one or two parts of an evolutionary line that I can’t stand, but everything really resonated with me this generation.

    • I personally like the Alola starters more because these were the first starters where I got to see them grow and evolve. By that I mean when I first learned about the new starters only their first evolutions were revealed. It is also because Decidueye just looks so cool.

  8. I shouldn’t have to say this, but in the future, please keep all political conversation to a low hum. Remember my warning from earlier in the year: be mean on purpose and you will be banned. Got it? (Stop beating me to the punch, Dicie!)

  9. I’ve only just gotten round to seeing this episode. All round good quality as usual, though I’m kinda clueless as to what telling this particular story brings to the table…
As usual the english dub is slightly inferior to the french one, with more snappy lines sacrificing explicative power, and just weaker writing all around.
I really don’t like the Heatran disappearing thing though, it looks stupid and is just not how I pictured it. Dude, he should have just retreated back in to a crevice or something, not magically poof out of existence, this is silly and sh*tty IMO.

  10. I think the political chains should be deleted after they get abandoned…
    so that nobody revives them…
and to keep the pokemon talk at the forefront…

  11. Alright here comes a different idea
If these Ultra Beasts are meant to look/or are people what about us?
What would your ultra beast look like, including grotesque appearance, typing and ect

    Reply
    • UB-09 with the typing of steel and grass. It looks like multiple cubes and 3D rectangles(can’t remember the name off the top of my head) with moss growing on these steel shapes.

      Reply
    • an azure sphere with an array of semi-amorphous white cubes floating around it that shift color under light, when it gets pissed it becomes red and the cubes turn pure black and grow tree-diagram-spears that inject lethal doses of venom. Ice/Poison.

    • My Ultra Beast is a Massive Red Black Brown Bovine like creature with a tremendous pair of long horns that spew out raw burning energy like volcanoes
It stands quadruped (but the front legs are much thicker and fists) with armored hooves that scorch the ground with every step
It’s back contains numerous spikes and spires that leak fire, and it has angry glowing eyes and a long mane of fire and a snout that bellows out steam p

      It is code-named UB-13 Fury
      It is a Fire/Ground type
It is said this Ultra Beast’s temper flares up incredibly easy and has enough power to smash a mountain to rubble and burn the rubble to nothingness

      Reply
    • Mine would be UB-Whatever: Guardian

Fairy/Steel, it’d basically be an Ultra Beast that could manipulate emotions in order to keep its young safe as well allies, as well as keeping enemies confused whilst not directly attacking

It’d be a stall mon with great bulk and terrible speed and attacking stats, and physically would be a blue capped glowing bunch of fairyfire fungi, with grey in the centre of each

From the fungi orb comes a veil as hard as steel, which can be made opaque to hide things under It, or display illusions on its surface

Other UBs seem based off of pests so I went for fungi
