  1. O. . . M .. G. Had to watch like 4 – 5 Times. This thing.. omg. If it just had VR coming it would be All I need.. I’m sure Sony’s new projects will make me eat those words. But I will Definitely be buying this. It’s like the PS Vita Perfected! I don’t even care if it’s not as strong as the new consoles coming out..looks pretty damn good to me. I am Totally not a Nintendo fanboy.. until Now! Awesome!
Only thing that could make this better is if it turns into a tablet with a browser and whatnot. This thing looks mature enough for public. I was just thinking how cheap my 3DS XL looks. Can’t wait for Pokemon on this! Will finally look how we always wanted it.
I feel like the first Pokemon game they are working on will be like Pokken Tournament.. but after that, hope they drop the 3DS, though I will slightly miss 3D, and focus on this only!
Having the console and handled be 1, mean no skipping out on the power of handheld games. Awesome!

  2. Of counts the first thing my brother says when he saw the switch was my reaction too: “Can you buy an extra handheld part?”
Nintendo better not dissapoint me here, or else there will be some very fun arguments between us in the future. Nintendo has always favored family gaming, they better not assume that a family would be willing to share one handheld. -_-

    • my brother was deadpan and dry witted when i showed him, and the other one pointed out all the faults with it
i swear my siblings can’t ever be excited about anything

          • Trendy?
Not the word I would have picked.
*makes plans to hand trident over to Earthen in exchange for keeping Britain intact*

          • London feels like a foreign country though, it’s so alien compared to the rest of the places I’ve been in the UK. People’s behaviour and attitudes are really different (not necisarily negative, but still odd), the way things are structured and laid out are different and a lot of the place is cleaner and more modernised. It’s really weird.

Maybe it’s like that in some other places, but tbh I’ve felt more at home in Greece than I have in London.

Now that I’m done with that: fashion is unimportant 😛

          • But fashion is an art form 😮

Like I don’t think everyone should engage in it, just like not everybody is forced into drama and painting

I like London, I literally got lost without a phone there but easily navigated my way back due to the structure. If it was New York or something I’d of been screwed XD

I also love the contrast between old and new, it’s an art in and of itself. And it is a city of art, really, due to the plays and musicals

I also just feel more at home with more people, it grounds me. I’m reminded that others are living and that I’m not necessarily alone.

          • Some things should stay hypothetical or on the drawing board *looks at Lady Gaga’s meat dress*.

Most people are made to experience drama, painting and textiles through the national curriculum 😛 It’s not being made to do it as a career, but it’s still important. Also it depends on a person’s outlike, there are people who treat all clothing as a fashion statement and not merely coverings to keep warm and ‘decent’.

I’ve never got lost there before. If you’re not going a large distance it’s pretty easy to use buildings as landmarks. Some places are nicer than others.

Plays I’ll agree with, not musicals.
I prefer the old bits. I went to an art gallery in Camden once and had to stop myself laughing at the ‘art’. It was no oil painting, pun intended.

Eh, I don’t like places with lots of people. Too much judgement, too many negative vibes. I liked the docks though, nice and calm with a gentle breeze.

      • I’m going to be shocked if you aren’t able to buy a family bundle/buy a second handheld, people with siblings who aren’t willing to share is a big part of the market I’d assume.

  4. I know one thing. If this doesn’t have a cool new pokemon game. I will be disappointed yet again, but Splatoon 2 is cool though

  5. Part 2 of your daily loose evidence stuff.
Not sure how accurate this is, but I found his one Reddit, the list of Pokemon on MeleMele supposedly found somehow with the datamine: http://pastebin.com/DRd8c2mm
If you recall from the evidence I’ve said multiple times, GameXplain found MORE THAN ONE NEW Pokemon in the first two hours of the game, which quite obviously take place on MeleMele. Now, if this list is true, there is ONLY ONE NEW POKEMON in MeleMele that isn’t an evo, which is the leaked anemone thing. It isn’t even near the beginning of the dex, it is near the end of the island. If GX found more than one new Pokemon in the first two hours and there’s only one non-evo Pokemon found on late MeleMele, it’s obvious at this point they found something that we don’t know of. Evidence number I lost count.

          • Aha, so it’s one rule for real people and one for virtual ones?

(Seriously though, I think people do judge clothing too much.)

          • Yeah pretty much :p

I always internally judge, I can’t help it, but I’d always treat an actual person with respect and will probably care more about them.

And I guess the reason so many people care about clothing is because it’s easily the most evident expression of oneself: it’s one of the first thing people notice about you and it can also just express so much more (like this is my job, this is my team, this is my culture, etc)

          • Clothing, much like makeup, is easy to lie with. Put on a fancy suit, tell someone you’re a salesman and they’ll probably believe you.

I’ve never put much faith in clothing, I tend to forget what people I meet/know are wearing unless it’s out of the ordinary.

  6. Out of curiosity, how old are people here? Just wondering because how gay this website is was a surprise and I’m wondering if there’s anything else surprising about the peeps here, like the site being older/younger than average than other sites 😮

I’m sixteen and I honestly hate it, I feel like the baby of the bunch most of the time :s

  7. So what are we thinking as to if Pokemon sun and moon will be on the Switch.

Or maybe the next generation of pokemon games.

    Reply
    • I don’t know if I want that.
      On one hand, better graphics.
On the other hand, that means that the 3ds version will have restricted features, and I’ll have to wait 4 months after the release for the full experience.

        • Let’s see how the console does. While it certainly is powerful, it’s running the Vita risk right now with handheld dev’s, and we’ll have to see how we’ll they can communicate the idea of a console game that can be played on the go, and one that is meant to be thought of as a handheld that can be played on a big screen.

          Reply
    • i’m not thinking that
i don’t think main games will hit the Switch THAT soon
they should should start small with one-two spin-offs and a battle revolution game with sun and moon’s sequel

  8. To be honest this kinda sounds dumb but I kinda hope they do a Pokémon spin off for the switch

Like complete tabula rasa, no old Pokémon at all, the only things coming from the main series being the rough concept of turn based battles, the current type chart, and relevant moves and abilities they can use for these spin off Pokémon

Or a harder, more mature (teenaged) spin off series

    Or both as one project

    Reply
      • I just feel the main series has a lot of clutter and I feel a back to the basics sort of game would be just what some people need

        Reply
        • I thought you meant drop the Pokemon title and make a digimon/yokai watch esque spinoff. Still don’t want it though, I rather like what it is now.

          Reply
          • Nah, it’d still be Pokémon at its core, and it’d just be a spin off so peeps who like tge main games can just not touch it or have both :p

          • Your description was basically “It’s pokemon, but without all the 720+ existing pokemon”.

Scrapping megas and z-moves I could agree with, but retconning every single pokemon is quite drastic.

          • Tbh I just feel it’d be a nice break way from the main series

And one of Pokémon’s problems is that its designs tend to be limited by the game’s art style, and I’d love to see them try their hand at others, like more realistic or different animated styles

  9. I’ve come to the sudden realization that we’ve never had a quadrapedal fire starter in its third stage. Don’t say typhlosion.

  10. With the Nintendo Switch I think its very interesting and it looks fantastic! the only thing I can think of though is that it’s going to be weird and take some time to get use to not having a double screen for Pokemon games but I’m still looking forward to trying it out!

    • He looks Awesome! Especially in 3D.. that’s what sold him for me. Just was upset Litten changed from calm to aggressive, but they all grew up, like humans kind of. Just pray not fighting!

        • what are you talking about? Last gen was feminine.. . emboar was disappointing.. but blaziken rocks and looks completely dif from this.. plus i think blazkine before meg looks androgynous. And they are not all agressive either

          Reply
          • Delphox is obviously the outlier. I’m just saying the variation between fire starters is lacking. I almost never choose them anymore.

          • Meh, 3/7 have fighting as a second typing, 7/7 are bipedal, almost all are aggressive in demeanor or appearance. Honestly it’s boring to me. The grass starters have the best variation and I’m really not even a fan of grass type.

          • Typhlosion at least is a mix of standing and quad. And most seem battle ready.. not agressive to me.. maybe another word. Especially not fennekin. But its cool to all have opinions. I love his design tho

          • No, everyone must agree with me or they’re wrong!!! I do like Fennekin though, but wasn’t impressed by delphox. I like when it uses its wand in battle though.

    • It’s not the official art though I can sense the dark through it………Y ppl still hate him cuz humans r affected by each other and the hate turn into Beliefs…….but I am not surprise how it become most popular in ppl team.

    • He looks like a tiger, he looks like a wrestler. He dies NOT look like Blaziken, he does NOT look like Emboar, he does NOT look like Infernape! He looks like himself! He is NOT Fire/Fighting either! Who cares about bipedal? Just don’t use him! He looks amazing and I can’t wait to have one on my team.

      Reply
      • Bipedal isn’t what bothers me.
        Type isn’t what bothers me.
What bothers me is, WHY ARE 4/7 FIRE STARTERS SOME SORT OF FIGHTER? Regardless of whether it is fighting type or not, it’s ANOTHER fire starter become a fighter, and to be honest, that idea is stale. VERY stale.

    • I would never have been pleased, whatever generation it appeared in.

      Litten ruined forever.

I have no issue with fighting type, the bipedal I wouldn’t have had issue with if the design were right, but ignoring those, I still hate the design.

    • Heck yes,I am quite content with Litten’s final evo,I wasn’t too surprised when I first saw the final evo leaks.I do know that people will be hating because of appearance and the possibility of becoming a fighting, that’s just sad.Pokemon is pokemon,Litten becoming a bigger cat is too generic and is too predictable so Game Freak has to create something people least expect.I don’t hate any pokemon Game Freak create, sure some may be ugly in appearance but that’s like real animals, sure inanimate objects are not as appealing as mythical or real life animals. But at the end of the day,it’s pokemon,it’s not the end of the world people.I’m sorry for the rant, but I do get tired for all the hate on certain pokemons just because they’re not what you guys expected them to become.
#Litten for the win *waves Team Litten flag* 😀
