My wish would be that you could play 3DS games on it… I’d pre order it today.. Pokemon Sun and Moon on he big screen? yes, please.
Wishful thinking, but the problem with that is the lack of the necessary bottom screen for the functionality of pretty much every 3DS game.
thats true maybe they can do something though? or make an attachment?
Some questions I have are how do they keep the cost down of games when using discs would probably be a better way for space than carts are and how they plan to do the switching from tv to handheld. Will the cartridge always go into the pad or will there be a need to stop the games and put it in the pad? they make it seem like you won’t need to stop the game, but who knows.
I’ll wait to see new games that’ll come out on this. I don’t want to get it if there are no new interesting games (which is a low possibility)

Crazy thought: Gen VII could be the first Pokémon Generation to have its (main series) games split between consoles.

But SuMo has already been confirmed for the 3DS. If NX games and 3DS games are allowed, then ORAS/XY will be too.

This is more thank I can take. This is better than what I imagined. Like, OMG. And all the 3rd part support. This is literally everything the Wii U failed at and SWITCHed it around and is now its strong points. Like, just imagine all of the possibilities with this. AND AGAIN UNITY IS SUPPORTING IT!!!!! If they can make the process of putting games on the eShop as easy as Steam this is going to be absolutely perfect. Like as a hobbyist developer, I could get a freaking game on a Nintendo system. Which I wouldn’t mind at all, Mario Kart 8 is the best in the franchise. Just adding onto that game is fine by me! 😀 It was always odd that they didn’t do more DLC for 8 considering how popular it was.

Unrelated question: My Pokemon Bank subscription expires in 19 days. How do I renew it exactly? I really cant afford to lose my shiny Dialga, amongst other things lol.
Once it expires just buy a pass thing. There is a grace period before your pokemon are removed
Where do I buy a pass? E-Shop?
Pretty sure you can renew it directly from the pokebank and just do the exact amount
