As per usual, Niantic has revealed some details about their upcoming Pokémon GO update before it goes live!
The first is a new medal system that gives you a bonus to your catch rate: as you capture more Pokémon of the same type, the higher your medal level will become, and the higher your catch rate will be for that specific type. You can get a Bronze, Silver and Gold medal in each typing giving you a +1, +2 and +3 bonus to the catch rate respectively. When catching dual-type Pokémon the catch rate will be an average of the two medal bonuses.
And just revealed today is an enhancement to the gym system! Now when you train your Pokémon at a gym of your own team you will be able to bring six Pokémon (instead of the original one), and the CP of the Gym’s Pokémon will be temporarily lowered to better compensate the CP of your Pokémon while training.
Niantic gave no official date of when the update will be available in the App Store and Google Play Store – only promising that they’re coming “soon.”

While’s it’s an interesting theory, the only distinctive feature of Akal that would be Zora’s domain is the basins. I’m more inclined to swap MeleMele and Akala, because we know the MeleMele has that huge waterfall area, and Akala has lush jungle.
Then the pattern wouldn’t match up correctly though. Snowhead was opposite Woodfall and Zora’s Domain was in between. Besides, that smaller islet bit is kind of like Zora halland the strange building near the volcano is a bit like the lab.
Besides, the land and ocean are partly inverted since a field is now an ocean.
Maybe the volcano represents the undersea trench.

I missed the article I’m actually interested in. 🙁 I mean I can still post things but most people will only see them here. So obviously I’m thrilled at the file size, that’s huge. This opens up so many possibilites, post game region, PWT, new post game island, maybe BATTLE FRONTIER!?!? Anyway, what confuses me is the 4 GB SD card thing. Does that mean the demo will be larger than .8 GB, or is that just for save data?

It’s partly because although the card says 4GB it’s actually a bit less because some of that memory is used by the file system to keep track of files, so it would end up being a tight squeeze. Plus it’s not like memory is expensive. You can get 64GB and even (I think) 128GB SD cards these days.

I’ll pick it back up when Johto comes out; it was fun when the commons/uncommons were new and fun, but the only ones I don’t have now are dragonite, charizard, etc. (The ones that I’ll only get by getting really lucky) Humorously enough, my mom is the only person I know who is still playing, she’s absolutely addicted to that game. xD

I never fully realized how massive SM will be. With all of these new features (Island challenge, The PC gimmick, the new Wifi Plaza, Z Moves, Island Guardians, Ultra Beasts, etc.), I think SM will be the largest Pokemon game by far. Not only that, SM has like 2x the amount of GB than XY and ORAS.
A fair chunk of the memory is because of the more detailed models and textures.

I don’t think it would add that much even if he were 18. Mid twenties to early 30s maybe, but at 18 it would still make perfect sense for him to not be involved romantically and to still want 100% focus on friendship and adventure.

I’m so sick of that excuse. Gravity Falls, Steven Universe and Over the Garden Wall are all mature and respect their audience. Kids don’t deserve the same crappy repetitive non-sense. Heck even when I was younger I found the anime to get super boring and monotonous as I figured out the formula was just make a bunch of nothing episodes to feature pokemon.
The fact that kids entertainment is just expected to be mindless garbage angers me to no end.
To back this up:
One Piece is actually aimed at children and teens despite featuring much bloodshed, having a large adult fan base and having one reaaaally long continuous plot line with many intricate continuity connections between arcs.
In the manga, something that has been left a mystery since about 1998 has just this year been revealed, 18 years on.
I’m sure there are similar anime this can be said for. It’s only America (and in part Britain) that (90% of the time) treats its young audience like they’re thick when it comes to cartoons. Gravity Falls was a saving grace while it lasted.

And it would be really easy to make something serious, they were getting there with origins and they got close with these shorts, but they just keep denying the possibility because they desparately want to keep all flagship Nintendo series as ‘child friendly’. Pokenchi is the worst of all.
Those shows also don’t have over 900 episodes where the character doesn’t age or get rebooted every 3 seasons for the next batch of kids..

It doesn’t make it okay! The adventures manga has been going on for almost as long and works because it treats its readers with respect, shows character development and aging and actually changes! Everytime a new game comes out, we get new characters to follow! it isn’t the same idiot running around accomplishing nothing.
I was really wanting Serena and Ash to get together, Ash to win the Kalos league and reboot the anime so we could get some new characters. that would SAVE the anime honestly. Instead we are just getting ash being an idiot once again.

It has the same problem as Combusken for me. The lack of separation between head and body. Like Torchic and Blaziken have but Combusken doesn’t. I agree about the muzzle. Even if it’s meant to be because it’s designed on a stuffed toy bear I would still prefer it have a muzzle more akin to an actual bear. I would also prefer it be burnt orange instead of pink.
It should’ve had fur tufts on its neck to make it more fluid, it’s just to round (not the shape) if that makes sense.
It looks like it’s body and head are meant to be a pill with arms legs and a tail attached. Also I’d like if it had proper ears.

In efforts to cope with my “month of leave”, so to speak, I’m planning a small marathon if you can call it that. I’m going to try to finish HGSS, play BW2, and finish it off with Red where it all started before SM. I spend a lot of time on the Internet, this’ll free up my time a lot.

I’ve been doing that for a while now! I started with OmegaRuby, then went to SS, then Black, then White 2, and about to start Y, which I can hopefully finish before I play Sun.

Considering how big the demo file is, if I see any sign of it being data mined, I’ll be going offline until the games’ release. I don’t want to leave you guys for so long, but I’ll do what I have to do to avoid such large spoilers.

I first came here on the xy leaks( could’ve been on the bw leaks… but im not sure)…. if the site was up ont the electivire magmortar period of leak… maybe, cause i remenber being on serebii by that time…. i know for sure on xy… cause it became a favorite cause the community! So can anyone suggest me a good, not so expensive, sd card? I only have 4 gb…. and i need a 16gb…. or 32gb… 64 is overkill… i wont use it…. unless the “4ds” uses the same card!
Depends on what yo’d call expensive. I just bought a 32 gb sd card off of amazon for about $26. Sure it’s a little more than I’d have wanted to spend, but I did a little looking around and that’s about how expensive 32gb cards cost. this is the one I have coming to me.

Yeah the starters are definitely getting something interesting I think. I don’t think it’ll be just specific Z moves or Z forms anymore. I’m still leaning towards split forms for their finals. It’d be something long lasting that would set the gen 7 starters apart from all the others. If it was just z moves or Z forms they could inevitably give the others them too, but split forms are something special that they’d have to be “born” with. lol
I HOPE split forms! gender differences or more likely version forms..!
