- Brionne is Popplio’s Water-type evolution with the Torrent ability
- Festival Plaza allows players to interact with one another and earn Festival Coins.
- Festival Coins can be used in shops to purchase a variety of things, from stat increase items to clothing and accessories
- Poké Pelago is a new location that Pokémon stored in PC Boxes can visit. Poké Pelago can allow you Pokémon to attract Wild Pokémon, uncover new items or even train and increase their levels.
- Mega Evolution returns and is achieved through the Z-Ring
- Demo for Sun & Moon releases October 18th on the eShop
- The demo version of the game allows players to use a special Greninja that can transform in Ash-Greninja when it becomes charged with its Battle Bond. Ash-Greninja can be transferred to the full copy of the game
- Trainers can battle other trainers teams in the Global Link by scanning their QR code

Wow! I love the starter evolutions! I still doubt the dual evolutions though. I’m going off of the Riddler’s leaks. Anyways, I can’t believe we predicted Mega Evolution! I knew the circular hole on the bottom of the Z-Ring would trigger Mega Evolution. It seems like Dexio and Sina will get give you the Key Stone! I like the new additions as well. Time to watch the JP trailer!

If there are more Pokemon that can change form then I’d imagine the ability will be the key to it all. More Pokemon will likely have it if it’s not just a Ash Greninja thing.

Look at Wartortle: he has fangs and wing-ears and a fluffy tail and turns into Blastoise who has none of those features.
Charmeleon is a different color that Charmander, and then changes back to his first color at his final evo.

The individual parts of Litten’s matches up, like the front paw becoming bigger, the bell being the beginning of the belt, the fur in the face becomes longer and the tail becomes shorter and clubbier, etc.

Yup! You can tell where they’re gong with the mid stage designs. Litten’s paw become bigger and its animation has it jumping up on it’s hind legs, Popplio’s evo basically got a frilled blouse or dress, and I could see the “hair” on Dartrix turning into the hood from the final evo.
Popplio is my girl but I think Dartrix may be my favorite middle stage

no the sexism is that no one bats an eye at say Emboar being predominantly masculine and still having it be able to be female, but when a pokemon thats predominately feminine is introduced first people get upset because they think its far too feminine for pokemon and then the same people want it to only be female in gender I’m assuming to compensate for their fragile masculinity. See the problem, these people don’t care when a pokemon seems overly masculine but when a pokemon seems feminine its deemed inferior by these people and they have trouble accepting it.

Well, I think the Machamp line should be 100% male, for example. Doesn’t mean I’ll lose my sleep over the fact it can be female.

Brionne looks pretty fruity to me, however the final mermaid-seal thing reminds me of Wallace, the water gym leader in Hoenn. He’s more of a pretty boy than a macho man, and has a dramatic flair.

I have always loved popplio! I knew they were gonna do it justice with it’s final evos. Brionne is the perfect amount of cute and Popplio3 is simply elegant! I am so happy with this evolution line. Plus if it really is water/fairy thats a really rad typing.

After long months, i’ve come to like the final evos…. i am seeing them as a family… the 3 little kids that my brother-in-love has! 2 boys and a girl, the bang on rowlet… i just saw them haha… the chubby little sister…. i loved the 3 of them….. now in game…. maybe littlen3 can be cool… hehe
I feel like Litten3 is wrong because it looks strange how it starts black and red, evolves into black and orange, and then back to black and red…… I dont like it. It’s to weird.

Charmander just had a disease when he became Chameleon.
I always wondered why he got one horn in the middle of his head, then he gets two horns that aren’t in the middle. Where’d the first one go? Did it move and another grow?

You just have to look at the mid evolutions a little closer, and see the pattern that they share. Please note that the mid evolutions don’t seem to fit the basic starters.

Look at dewott to samurott, or froakie to greninja. These make more sense than those do in my opinion.
Rowlett: Hair cut covering face becomes hood, the little tuft at the back of its head looks like back of hood, the obvious dart/ archer motif. You see Orange coming into the second evo design which is in the third.
Litten: The bigger cat paws for punching, the tiger stripes on its back which come to the front of his chest when he evolves. The fiery bell becomes a fiery belt.
Popplio: The dress becomes mermaid dress, lighter colour, white on nose spreads all over body. Pink nose

I’m sorry but IM really not feeling these middle stages, and although the poplio line seems to all fit, I can’t believe that torracat and Dartrix make the huge leap to litten3 and rowlett3. It’s actually quite jarring imo. Torracat is so much like litten, while litten3 is like a total departure. But I guess I’ll have to see the final evos in game before really judging.
But bottom line, these are some really funny looking middle stage evolutions, and I usually love the middle stage

Archer is it not? Just because it doesn’t look similar to Grass3 doesn’t mean that. Quilladin does not look like Chesnaught at all. Keep that in mind.

A bit worried about Torracat’s ‘cat punches’. If it’s another fire fighting then I think the company really isn’t doing itself any favours ( and I’m beginning to think it’s intentional :/) I don’t see sun moon forms happening because I’d say the second evos are linked to the third quite well.
I’m hoping for Fire/Dark based on a heel wrestler thing, since it makes sense with the info we know of the Litten final. Plus, I think there’s a good amount of mons who are strong that aren’t Fighting type, but I’d have to look through all the dex entries to see

It doesn’t need a fighting type to be a wrestler. Like I said, its resembling a heel wrestler. They cheat and do what it takes to win, which is characteristic of Dark type. It actually makes sense that its weak to fighting, since the hero/real wrestlers stop them.
I think most likely GF knows not to do another Fire/Fighting starter again. Emboar was badly received because of it being the third Fire/Fighting starter.

The problem is, a wrestler is such a characteristic fighter. We’ve already gotten a boxer and other wrestlers, martial artists, etc who are fighting type. if we had never gotten a starter that was fire/fighting, this would be the perfect candidate.
YOu are right, which is why I was worried in the beginning, but when I hear about heel wrestlers, I think Dark. The characteristics for Dark type are there. Plus you could maybe stretch ninjas into fighting as well, but their most known attribute is stealth and nothingness, hence the Dark typing.

Gotta say, this was about most of the info I wanted. The demo seems cool and I’ll definitely be happy with an Ash-Greninja, but I wonder, could we breed Froakie’s having the Battle Bond Ability?
Also speaking of breeding, that new PC mechanic looks pretty slick, but it makes me wonder, would or could they have integrated breeding into it too? If so that would be pretty rad!
And last but not least, the starter 2nd stages. I like them all, still leaning toward beginning with Rowlet and getting the other 2 via breeding. Still getting my Popplio as a female no matter what, especially with Brionnie revealed. And Terracat, I like it, looks tough and cool! This maybe my favorite set of starters since RBY and DPP!
