  1. For those who were in denial it’s settled, those final forms are real. But now it’s even sadder that the cat’s final will end up like that, because its second stage is beyond adorable.
Ps: popplio second form is even more embarrassing than the final one.

  3. Demo for the game will be coming out a month before it’s official release.

I’m not kidding, it’s on the 18th October.

  4. Mmm I hope they learned from the last demo and took out/hid everything in the main game. I don’t want to have to go dark so soon, there’s still news to see. ;_;

  5. I’m wondering if the demo will be later for the UK, possibly October 23rd instead, considering we have to wait till November 23rd, or whether it will be a worldwide Demo release

  6. Was it mentioned if the Demo will be on the eShop or go out the Trainer Club like the first ORAS demo wave (which was kinda silly imo :/)

  7. Popplio’s second form look kinda slow, if you know what i mean… And by the way, this is clearly going to be the very first gen that the grass starter will be (by far) the most chosen one. It’s gonna be the charizard of this gen.

  8. Torracat makes me think of Jake/Razor from Swat Kats, and the final evolution Commander Feral.

Somebody MUST make a Pokemon version of Swat Kats.

  9. Yes, my lovely Altaria can retain her mega evolution! Im so relieved! Also, i think this pretty much is the nail in the coffin for poor litten. Popplio, you are now officially my starter of choice this generation.

  10. I’d’ really like to know why GF makes a massive point of delivering final fire starters they already know it’s gonna be deeply hated and it’s the perfect opposite of what the fans have been wanting for so long. It’s like they gloat over the frustration and anger of the players.

    • I never chose the fire starter. I saw a cat, fell in love with how adorable it is, and got my hopes up. I dont even care that it isnt fighting, it just looks like the same old thing done from gens 3-5.hugely disappointed. Popplio’s final form makes up for it though.

    • I kind of feel the opposite. I love Infernape and most fire starters (except Emboar), and Litten’s final is growing on me every day.
Sure, would have liked a majestic, 4-legged tiger, but this design is different and I can appreciate it.

    • I definitely think it’s supposed to be annoying. To stick in your head, generate publicity, debate etc. People can say as much as they want, oh it’s unexpected, creative, or whatever – perhaps it is these things individually- but it is definitely very similar to a lot of fire starters we have. If I were game freak I’d make next gen starters completely free of the fighting time. Like even chesknaught being fighting was annoying. Same with dark and psychic, we had those in Kalos together as a much wanted set, so let’s start looking at other types for the starter evos! Electric, poison, normal, ghost, ice, fairy, bug, rock….

      • It would be interesting, maybe even necessary, but sadly i don’t think they would go that way. Regarding specifically the fire starter they more than proved to have a really limited and stiff approach.

    • Or maybe it’s because they expcet us to not be so immature about designs and create what they want, looks like they failed.

  11. I’ll comment on this reveal later as I don’t have time to converse with you guys right now, but I just want to say how infuriated I am at how many people are making a certain connection with Brionne’s expression and a mental condition. I’m even more furious at how many people agree with them and laugh along. Mental illness is not something to throw around lightly like that; poking fun at it is a very toxic action that could negatively impact another user here.

  12. I am thoroughly impressed with all of the 2nd stage starters, though Dartrix and Brionne have be my favorite two. Wonder if people will change their views on the starters based on its evolution’s. Also, maybe Popplio’s line will be split evo, since the last time we had a feminine 2nd stage was Kirlia who had the split final evo. Regardless, I’m extremely hyped for this!

  13. Luckily Mega Pokemon can’t use Z-Moves, well apart from Rayquaza, though I doubt we can get Rayquaza till Bank is updated next year.
Although while it’s not a Mega, Ash-Greninja can use Z-Moves, and that’s basically a Mega Evolution but not at the same time.
It also means you can have a team with Both Primals, 1 Mega and Ash Greninja once Bank comes out, unless Primals stay in Gen 6
