The Official Pokémon YouTube Channel has just updated with a trailer for a series of animated shorts known as Pokémon Generations.
The animated series will revisit each Pokémon Generation of the video game series and shed new light on some “timeless” moments. The 18 bite-sized episodes (around 3 to 5 minutes long) will be released weekly from September 16th until December 23rd, 2016.

Well Zyarde is the legend in Kalos, just because its cells and stuff moved to Alola doesnt mean anything, remember the anime Zygarde core was able to find cells all around

So I had a dream last night where I got to play Sun and Moon (I have one of these like every week lol). But there was this really weird feature that let you change the colors of shiny pokemon to any color you want. There was a gradient on the bottom screen, and you could change a shiny to any color on the gradient. That would actually be so cool though, I can just imagine the shinies I could create with that.

So gradients would change the tint of the Pokemon, which would make the game have to render the tint overlay of the Pokemon. Sun and Moon already are jam packed and would run SUPER SLOOOOW with having to render and upwards of 4 different tints at a time in multi-battle types. Shiny Pokemon are just texture swaps, this would be entirely different xD

I always wanted like a rarity after shines one that make them more unique. like Normal is common, shinies are rare and this color is like super duper find one and youll have bragging rights rare
I don’t know how I’d feel about that. I spent 3/4 of a year looking for a shiny, I don’t know how much time I’d waste looking for one of those. It’d be like “Another shiny?! I already have like a full box of these! *release*”.
That would be so cool, stylizing my own team and making it unique. I also had a somewhat Sun and Moon team and basically I dreamed of after beating the Elite Four in Red, I had a level 43 Rowlet on my team for whatever reason, and then after I realized why it hadn’t evolved already I woke up ?

– Rayquaza coming down to stop Kyogre and Groundon

I just realized that if I want a competitive Rugarugan midday form, while playing Moon, not only I have to ask someone with Sun to breed a perfect ivs one but also to evolve it for me….really annoying, cause we can’t really trust anyone on GTS. Don’t like excusive evolutions at all.

I know it’s on purpose because he even copied Stufful! I mean, it’s an unevolved pokemon, it should be extremely rare to find on someone’s team! But guess what he does, he goes and steal 5 of 6 pokemon on my team. It’s super annoying, I’m telling you, you have it good, at least you and your brother form an agreement. He just copies my team. And it’s been like this for nearly every game.

He’s almost 12. There’s the arguement “well he’s your little brother. he looks up to you and wants to be like you!”, but I’m fed up with it. I mean, I want a little individuality, it’s past the point where he doesn’t know what the game is anymore so he just copies me. It’s super annoying but there’s nothing I can do about it. -_-

That guy is a genius. Even if 100% of what he theorizes are untrue, the amount of research, dedication, and time it takes to create these theories and then tie them all in a cohesive manner presentable to the masses is INSANE, and I admire him for that. However, the downside to that is the probable let down of the stories not living up to their potential or GameFreak being afraid of making the story too complicated for their core demographic(s) and sugarcoating and/or simplifying it to such a molecular level that it’s a predictable hot mess. Hopefully they live up to their hype.

They’ve been apart of the games since generation 1, but there were special and physical types and any move that was apart of a special type was considered a special move. However, that changed in generation 4 when moves not belonging to a special type could be physical and vice-versa.

Need I say more?

In some ways yes in other no some being bigger looks better but some big don’t look good
I know lots of people who are quite active and do a lot of rambling/hiking and they’re still very large. Equally I know people who do nothing but sit on their arse all day but are still as thin as a rake.
Weight can still be effected by nutrition too. I don’t think the player characters really get 3 meals a day so there is that. There are alot of factors for it though but idk
They also don’t go to the toilet and sometimes don’t sleep. By all means the player should be dead or at least seriously ill.
Besides, we’ve got alien creatures coming in from other dimensions, characters’ bodies not reflecting their diet is probably one of the least strange things.
Weight is also affected by genes, some peoples’ bodies naturally store more fat than others.
I must admit, the more I think about it, the more I realise just how little the characters in pokemon vary in body size. They only have three settings: skinny, muscular and fat, they don’t have anything in between. The heights vary, but the actual builds of the bodies are pretty generic. And the player characters have never been anything but skinny. Heck, even Miis allow for more customisation than that.

My reasoning is based on culture though, in many myths from different culutres, the sun is always represented as male and the moon as female.
Mostly greek myth though.
