Although the official new trailers are expected tomorrow, someone it seems has gotten their hands on an early version of the video and leaked some of its contents.
- Pyukumuku is the English name for Namakobushi and is a pure Water-type with the ability Innards Out
- Alolan Raichu is now Electric/Psychic with the ability Surge Surfer which doubles its speed on Electric Terrain
- Morelull is a new Grass/Fairy-type Pokémon with the abilities Illuminate & Effect Spore
- Team Skull keeps its name from the Japanese versions and is led by Guzma, with Plumeria being a Team Admin.
- Alolan Meowth is a Dark-type with the abilities Pick-up & Technician
- Wishiwashi is the English name for Yowashi and its new ability is Schooling which activates when something reaches a certain level (HP? Stats?)
- Alolan Marowak is now Fire/Ghost-type and has the abilities Lightning Rod & Cursed Body

Alolan Pikachu does not exist. We’ve seen it in trailers, and we’ve seen in on the Rotom tracking feature.
There might not be an Alolan Pikachu as there’s no Alolan Eggsecute

Yea. Yet, Exeggucute in the Japenese trailers did not have an Alolan Form. I think it will depend on the Pokemon. As we already talked about, Pikachu has appeared in various trailers as it’s normal self. I guess we’re going to see it likely tomorrow.

I absolutely love Alolan Raichu is something amazing. I’m in love with it’s design. The other Pokemon look great as well. The only think is that I’m surprised that people think that there might be an Alolan Pikachu. There isn’t or likely is not an Alolan Exeggucte, so why will there be an Alolan Pikachu after we’ve seen Pikachu in the Z-Move trailer and evolving from Pichu. Anyways, I’m liking the new Pokemon. I just want to see the Evil Teams now! rf.

The transformation into the new form. It looks badass.
It has a Solo form Wishiwashi and the text “when a Wishiwashi reaches a certain level…” then it shows the school form
Then an ingame battle at lvl 50 (against Gyarados) where solo changes to the school form (which looks totally badass) then more text that says “Get schooled by Wishiwashi” (and the other two Pokemon it faced were Electivire & Metagross)

I am truly sorry for my confusing manner of writing. I did never state I condone and agree with the way Earthern speaks. It should be Water/Electric
The Psychic abilities may allow it to stabilise itself while surfing. Since its tail can no longer have that function (as its being used as the surf board).
Water/Electic would have been a better typing sure, but this one is unique, so I’m happy with it.

I want to know the lore around the Alolan forms, and with each new fairy type we get (it’s getting excessive) before even one ice type, I get angrier and sadder.
I think they already explained it. Pokemon obtain this new form once they stay in an area long enough. It’s basically what happens in nature and it’s easily explainable. The Pokemon are just adapting to their new environment overtime.
No I know. But each one has a specific explanation for they’re typing like vulpix moving to mountains to escape predators and sandshrew fleeing the volcanoes. I want to know the reasoning for psychic on raichu. It looks closer to a fairy to me, too cutesy.
