Pokémon GO Soon Resuming Global Rollout

Don’t have Pokémon GO yet? Don’t worry, the smash-hit augmented reality game will be resuming its worldwide launch on iOS and Android very soon according to the Wallstreet Journal (requires subscription). Europe, Asia and more should be getting the game “within days”.

This should be welcome news to the many of you still looking on jealously as people share images of the Pokémon they’ve already caught!

Although it was initially thought to have been already released in Japan, it still remains unavailable and I myself can’t wait to play!

  1. That’s great for our jungles in Europe! Speaking of Go, I’m out of poke balls and the nearest pokestop is out of walking distance RIP me.
Edit: and Japan apparently (could’ve sworn you guys already had it)

  2. I truly hate Whimsicott
This asshole would not stop annoying me just because I froze it and won and now constantly getting in my business because it’s so cheap

  3. If they could work on making it compatible with all smartphones that actually meet the specs like they can apparently do with ingress, then I’ll be happy about this.

  4. The ones who have it in Japan were the beta testers in Japan, also WSJ is saying this, not Niantic. Unless Niantic are saying it, I wouldn’t believe a word of this otherwise because of Niantic saying it could take a week to work on the servers before thinking about continuing the release.
