Trademark registrations have been apparently found, as well as logos, for two unannounced games: Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon! These were filed one day before the Pokémon Direct and beginning of the 20th anniversary in Japan.

UPD1: Numerous Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon websites have been registered by different subsidiaries of Nintendo. All of them direct back to Pokemon.com. Looks like we know what our next games are, maybe.
So Masuda just tweeted a pic of the sky with the moon in it and said “May be shining big and bright, even though the Sun is still out! I’m tweeting birds (lol)” This is from google translate so it’s prolly not perfect, but whatever! HYPE!!!!

The logo looks like a main series game. I’m feeling the 7th Generation of Pokemon or 6.5 Generstion. The 3DS is going to be a fantastic game for this year! I can’t wait for tomorrow!

This would mean, if these ARE Gen 7 titles, that Gen 6 will be anime only and GEN 7 OMG. HOWEVER since Gen six bowed to Gen One so much these coul go BACK to Kalos like Gen 2 did!

XY themelves have a lot of unexplained stuff, and Eternal Flower Floette still hasn’t been released.

With them taking a year of, Plain old Z would be dissapointing, but I don’t think it’s the right time for Gen 7…

Well according to the anime Red Core DOES get its nutrients through sunlight. What if Blue gets its from moonlight?
