Happy Christmas from PokéJungle.net!

A very, very Happy Christmas from the PokéJungle team!

2014 is coming to a close and boy, what a great year it has been!

As we’ve always said here on PokéJungle, we are a community driven site. All our readers whether frequent commenters, silent lurkers or anything in between, you guys are what make PokéJungle.net what it is today. All of the staff hope that our readers who choose to celebrate the festive holiday are having a wonderful day, and those that aren’t celebrating are taking time to relax and look back over the past year. We love every single one of you. Yes, even you…

The festive season is a time for giving, and we wouldn’t be human if we didn’t want to know what you guys were lucky enough to receive today, so let us know in the comments! Of course, we thank our readers for giving to the site all year round.

Once again, Happy Christmas and thank you to everyone who visits our site. See you all properly in the New Year and stay tuned over the next couple of days for a 2014 Recap and a 2015 look-ahead post! (Maybe some other surprises too!)

Back to the turkey and chocolates!

Merry Christmas,
Love from the PokéJungle Team.

  1. I did the Regi quest and i found out that it’s extremely random.
What do Relicanth and Wailord have to do with the regis?
And what’s up with using strength randomly and waiting 2 mins for a cave to appear and using fly for no reason?

    • When you find the original cave that unlocks the Regi caves, there is a message in the Braille-ish text talking about the Regis were locked up but could be awoken if the two eternal monster – Wailord and Relicanth – were with a person, the doors would open.
As for using Fly, waiting two minutes, and using Strength to open the three doors, I guess they just randomly chose ways to unlock the doors

  2. So, finally after so many other needs out of the way, I’m resuming my Wonderlocke challenge, and this is my Team (all male):

    Mudkip – Skipper
    Wurmple – Useless (WT)
    Ferroseed (WT)
    Ralts (WT)
    Eevee (WT)

  3. When I see people’s real life faces (Chico and Skiddo recently) I really feel the need to compliment them but… Idk if that’s awkard? So for the record, most of PJN isn’t ugly, and I’m happy our community looks handsome/beautiful. :3

  4. For Christmas, I decided to get a PS3 and 14 games for it along with a DVD collection for an anime called Blassreiter. Oh, and lets not forget Persona Q.

  5. Finally beat the Elite Four! Piece of cake. The only thing that was unexpected was that Steven’s Aggron somehow took out my Mega Blaziken. I think Sky Uppercut missed. Mega Metagross was a joke. I took it out with Shiftry. All in all, one of the easiest E4 and Champions. Sinnoh remains the hardest followed by Kanto/Johto although if they do remake Sinnoh one day maybe it’ll be easier since I’m a better trainer than I was.

    • I always found Drake to b the hardest by far out of all of the Hoenn E4. I just breeze thru the other 3, but when it comes to Drake I end up using a portion of my revives bc he’s so strong. And then Steven is just……meh lol

      • Yeah, Drake gave me a little trouble. His Salamence knocked my Flygon out because Dragon Rush missed. I would’ve had him had I just done two dragon claws instead

  6. Watching twitch streams for pokemon and reading these comments get me really mad:

“I’m resetting for Shiny Kyogre! How many soft resets do you think it will take me to get them?”

“Why the hell is your game constantly resetting?”

    “How do you soft reset?”

    “What is that pokemon?”

    Honorable mentions:
    – tricking people into thinking new pokemon games were announced
    – Smogon debates
    – STUPID NOOBS LIKE ONFG

    • 1. Me & other hunters who hunt at full odds
      2. Those who hunt in X/Y or ORAS (at 1/2 full odds)
      3. Those who use MM, Shiny Charm, Pokeradar (although that actually takes a lot of effort and is quite hard to master), Fishing Chaining, etc.
^ The hierarchy of shiny hunters.

I absolutely hate it when people say “Gee whiz, 500 soft resets, what a long hunt”. It’s really frustrating to see those of us who kind of actually care about the road it takes to get the shiny, not the shiny itself, only to have these people drive down our road in some hot-rod at 100 mph and then boast about it.

  7. I’m so scared to train my Cresselia.
I know the spread and moveset I want (defensive doubles), but I need to look at ORAS hordes, get the power items, and clear every super training regimen to unlock them all.
