Welcome back to the “How To…” series for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire! Today, we will continue covering Mega Stone locations, but now we will move into Mega Stones that have been present in Pokemon X and Pokemon Y previously. Now, I know I’ve been off schedule for a while now, so from now on, I’m probably just going to write an article twice a week whenever I feel like it. We’ll see if that works better than having a set schedule. Now, without further ado, let’s begin!
To find the Abomasite, you’ll need to make your way to the Route 123 Berry Garden, but only after you have caught Primal Kyogre or Primal Groudon, and it should be waiting for you.
Now, we move into perhaps the two most challenging Mega Stones in the game. To get the Lucarionite, you will have to beat all of the Master Ranks in the Pokemon Contests (Cool, Beautiful, Cute, Clever and Tough) and then defeat Lisia in a battle.
To get the Garchompite, you have to achieve Platinum Rank in your Secret Base, which can be done by getting a whopping 1,000 flags from other people’s Super Secret Bases. Quite the hefty challenge, but if you have the time, it’s definitely worth it,
To get the Absolite, go to the Safari Zone off of Route 121. You will need to get the Acro Bike to do the tricks necessary to get to the Absolite.
To get the Banettite, you will need to go to Mt. Pyre and it should be at the right part of the summit. Quite a fitting place for it, isn’t it? I wish Gamefreak had done that for some of the other Mega Stones…
To get the Manectite, head to the Seaside Cycling Road and it will be near Beauty Melissa to the right of the northern exit.
To find the Medichamite, you’ll need to go back to Mt. Pyre and it should be waiting for you on the top floor.
To recieve the Aggronite, you will need to go into Rusturf Tunnel and clear the path so Wanda and her boyfriend can see each other again. Then, you’ll get the stone as a present from her boyfriend.
To locate the Mawilite, you have to head to Verdanturf Town and it will be there in the southern portion.
To recieve the Gardevoirite, you have to go to Wanda’s house in Verdanturf Town, but only after you have caught Primal Kyogre or Primal Groudon. She will give it to you as a gift.
To locate the Tyranitarite, you will need to make your way to the Jagged Pass directly south of Mt. Chimney, but you will need to have caught Primal Kyogre or Primal Groudon and you will need the Acro Bike. It should be located next to the patch of grass that is northeast of the entrance.
To get the Houndoomnite, you will need to go to Lavaridge Town and it will be near the sand piles. Keep in mind that this can only be done after catching the Primal Pokemon that is exclusive to your version.
Finally, to locate the Heracronite, you will need to make your way to Route 127 and it will be located near Black Belt Koji.

I have no idea…. it would be worth it if it wasn’t so easy to get in XY. I mean if all pseudo-legendary mega stones were ridiculously hard to get then it would make sense but seriously ORAS: Get 1000 FLAGS???!! as opposed to XY: Smash a rock…… same goes for Lucarionite; i mean i guessed that the method for obtaining it would be for one of the stones but i assumed it would eb for the Altarianite since you have to fight Lisia to get it and it would make sense but no… random Lucarionite?
Well I mean it would’ve made sense for Lissia to give you the Altarianite but she gives you nothing and instead this random rich guy person who was her rival gives you the Lucarionite…even tho he has a Machoke. They really didn’t think about some of the Mega Stones and where to get them
Agreed… prime example being Alakazite.. Slateport Market? I mean had they added a circus act into the market or something then maybe but it was just so random. I wish mega stones were better placed.
I came across the Abomasite by accident cause I was planting berry in the berry field things…surely the Venusaurite would’ve made a little more sense

I agree Venusaurite would have more sense than Abomasite but i let them off on the fact that Abomasnow is also a grass type but its a push… Beedrilite i look at from the idea that the Sea Mauville was on its way from or to Kanto when it was shipwrecked and the Beedrilite was part of the storage of one of the passengers so in a way it makes some sense if you look at it like that.
Slight Flaw: Sea Mauville (at least in ORAS, idk if there was any story for it in R/S/E) was used as a research facility to extract natural resources (i.e., oil) from the ocean). It got closed, then overgrown, then turned into a Nature Preserve of sorts.
Then i return to my original opinion of GF got lazy with the Mega Stones…
I find it dumb that you can’t transfer your mega stones. I hope they include a patch in pokebank

In Florida, you really only need a jacket and that’s it, and if you’re hot in a building you take it off and you have jeans and a t-shirt underneath.

I just beat the Pokemon White 2 Elite Four. It wasn’t easy. Even with a Weavile and Braviary; I had a bit of trouble. I haven’t beated White 2 for a while. It was mostly just sitting in my game bag. Yet, I glad to be done with the main game. The post game is about to be a ton of fun! (I love Iris’ theme btw.)

My own reason for liking it is not because of that.
It had always reminded me of my grandmother I never knew cause she died before I was born and how I longed to meet her and for her to be my guardian angel. It was like a physical representation of a guardian angel, which is what I wanted back then, and made my wish come true, in a way.
It’s why my AS Gardevoir is named Athena, after my grandmother I never knew, but always wanted to know about.

It’s okay, Gardevoir has stuck with me for awhile. I don’t like people oversexualizing it, or any Pokemon, either, because it ruined what I thought Gardevoir to be for other people. I wish they would see Gardevoir in that way, maybe they might stop oversexualizing her.
Both grandmothers are dead (the other one died this year, but at least she is free from her mental suffering). One grandpa on my mom’s side died way before I was born (apparently my older brother looks like him/kinda acts like him) and I still have my grandpa on my dad’s side. As well as a stepgrandpa (my grandmother that I never knew divorced my grandpa and married someone else) and a stepgrandma he married. But I don’t see/talk to them much.

Most Liked and disliked type and why
Liked: Psychic and Dragon (the two have always been tied) with Fire as a close second. I liek most Psychic and Dragon typed Pokemon and my favorite Pokemon mostly lie under there. Plus I love purple. And Psychic was an awesome typing. And I have always loved Dragons since I was a little girl really. And psychic powers too :3 I jsut love the fire typing really.
Disliked: Hmmm…Bug. I don’t like bugs in the real world, but there are some bug-types I like. Poison, cause most look bad design-wise.
But I don’t seriously dislike any type really.

Fairy being popular is probably due to it being a new typing. Once people get used to it, I’m pretty sure it’ll die down.
My favorite is Water because I grew up going to the beach alot and I love water and being near aquatic life.
My least favorite is probably bug. The designs bother me for some reason. Most of them are weak, but the good ones are overpowered. Like Volcarona and Scizor. They’re either really weak or too freakin good.

I know this is not really Pokemon-related, but I’m loving this event on GaiaOnline where you fight the big poisonous-snow-blowing, fire-breathing Fafnir the Dragon and I got the rare Fafnir the Adolescent Dragon by collecting enough snowflake drops to create the item, which has an “I am” pose where you become the dragon! I wish the bigger one had an “I am” pose.

Honestly, I don’t think we want another Pokemon game next year. I’ve heard some people say on here, for example, that Battle Frontier wasn’t included in ORAS due to time constraints. Plus, I’ll give you and either/or scenario:
Would you rather?
1). Have a Pokemon game every year
2). Have them wait a year for the next Pokemon game, but have the next ones be thoroughly developed, not rushed, and a ton of fun to play (like ORAS)
I genuinely think they should wait… maybe 3 or 4 years… make some spinoffs, maybe even port a main series game (I’m thinking Platinum or Black and White) to mobile so that younger kids without DS’s can enjoy the games…
I don’t know if, business-wise, they could wait three or four years before making another Pokemon main series game, cause they sell a lot of copies of those (and thus make a lot of money). the last time i played Omega Ruby was on November 29th..
Good Lord… I Don’t play often myself but that long…
granted i’ve spent half of that time on my Ground Mono
but its hard, Smash wii u and Warlords came out
And i was extremely loyal to Wow before competitive Pokemon
I Downloaded WOW but my school as the server blocked so I never started it…
yeah i played wow when i kinda got into a void of gaming (and depression) (and the South Park episode inspired)
And this was about the age were i discovered my love for fantasy
Wow is extremely close to my heart
My friend used to play it and wanted me to join her. My computers are too slow for it anyway so… It’s good from what I hear.

In our house like when I was little we would open like 1 or 2 presents on Christmas Eve cause I couldn’t wait till Christmas Day. But now we just open all our presents on Christmas eve
