Meet the Legendary and Delta Pokémon in the latest ORAS Trailer

The Pokémon Company International has released a new trailer for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire on its official YouTube Channel.

The latest trailer reintroduces fans to familiar Legendary Pokémon, as well revealing the new Delta Episode; an all new story arc featuring new characters and the Delta Pokemon Deoxys.

The arc will see players discover Deoxys, as they fight to save the Hoenn region from a giant meteor and to thwart the plans of Team Aqua and Team Magma, who are stealing the Key Stones of trainers. The arc features a Sky Battle between Mega Rayquaza and Deoxys, one of which likely has something to do with the meteor threatening the region. The official teaser for the Delta Episode is below:

This episode involves the history of the Hoenn region, reaching 3,000 years into the past, and makes the mysteries of Mega Evolution clear at long last. The troubled tale begins with Zinnia, a young woman who bears a certain destiny. The story includes appearances from Team Magma and Team Aqua, Steven, Gym Leader Wallace, and other familiar faces. Don’t miss the conflict between Rayquaza and Deoxys!

At some point the mysterious new character, Zinnia will be introduced and will help decide the fate of the Hoenn alongside the player and other allies from across the region.

Finally more Pokémon have been confirmed to appear in Mirage Spots, inciuding: Entei, Raikou, Suicune, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Cresselia, Heatran, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus. Regirock, Registeel, Regice are also in the games, if all three are captured players will be able to catch Regigigas.

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire release later this month!

  1. One thing.

Rayquaza vs Deoxys. The battle of the ages. The 2 best legendary Pokemon (after Groudon and Kyogre) going head to head.

Holy shit ORAS just went complete overdrive. Groudon vs Kyogre just wasn’t enough…..We needed more epicness and GF delivered.

    • Well technically Groudon and Kyogre aren’t going to battle in these games, at least that we’re aware of. That’s in the Emerald storyline

    • It’s really epic. After first I thought it was a poster for a movie or a tv special and then when I learned it was for an in game event I was super excited!

  2. New forme? New Mega? New Primal?
    What will happen to Zygarde?
I’m still sticking with my theory that it’ll evolve after learning the Thousand Moves, like how Yanma evolves when it learns Ancient Power. I call it, Legendary Evolution!

  3. So a raffle all of the UK to meet Masuda, get a 2ds with ORAS preinstalled then get the Eon ticket to share with their local game
To the winner: *insert Liam Neeson Taken meme* (maybe replace kill with Streetpass you)

  6. The official Nintendo confirmation of the information leaked in CoroCoro last night really clarifies a lot of things and raises my hype for the games as opposed to last night. Last night I called this CoroCoro the worst one yet and I think that was because I didn’t really understand just how amazing the information was. I guess I’m still blinded by the fact that Mega Milotic hasn’t happened yet, but then again, nothing’s perfect. There will never be a game that always has everything you’re looking for. But I must say that I am still VERY hype for ORAS and without a shadow of a doubt I will be getting the games on release.

  7. I’m so happy that Corocoro came out late! The news are simply great!
Now I have a theory… We may get more Mega Evolutions after the Delta Episode, who knows? Maybe the event will make more Pokémon gain the ability to Mega Evolve?
Flying into outer space with Mega Rayquaza to stop the asteroid and battle Deoxys? Simply fantastic! ORAS = Best Games Ever imo!

  8. I literally can’t wait to see the cut-scene with your trainer heading up to Space. I wonder how your going to smash the incoming meteor! Maybe; the Meteor is Deoxys! This is more likely due to Deoxys coming from a meteor. I guess that the rumors of going to space was legit. Also, OR/AS is going to have an amazing after-game. (Refresh.)
