  1. Can someone please explain me why Milotic learn Coil now? Straight learning it by leveling up. Perfect for Hydro Pump, Blizzard and Hypnosis. But does that mean it can mega evolve into Water/Dragon type?

Milotic may be loosely based on sirens or the Loch Ness Monster, but mostly has characteristics of a sea serpent or sea dragon. It has anatomical similarities with the oarfish, with a pale, elongated body and extended, red dorsal fins.

      Name origin

Milotic may be a combination of aquatic, melodic, or lotic and Milo (as in the sculpture Venus de Milo, which is known for being an example of beauty (and, like Milotic, possesses no arms). It may also involve mitotic (the healing process of a body part through mitosis), as Milotic has a wide range of healing and defensive moves.

Milokaross may be a combination of Milo (Venus de Milos) and καλλονή kalloni (Greek for beauty) or Χάρις charis (Greek for beauty, elegance, charm, or grace). See also Charites

      • People like to focus on the luring part of sirens and not consider anything else, like how sirens are connected to the sea.

        • but that doesn’t make Milotic a siren
yews they both live in the sea but that’s just not enough to claim Milotic being a siren
bottom line Sirens lure sailors top their death via enchanting melodies or their radiant beauty
]Milotic becalms hostile foes and lets people forget their rage (i’m the only exception)
Just saying how sirens live in the sea doesn’t help one bit

          • They also are known for their beauty too, calm down.
Like I said, it’s enough of an inspiration TO THINK ABOUT IT.
Many people consider it as a viable influence, as do I.
Sure, sirens lure people, but Milotic has yet to have an entry describing it. Doesn’t mean it won’t happen.
It gives Milotic a mythical origin, and it makes sense to me and countless others.
Just accept the fact it’s a consideration of an origin.

    • Well ask yourself honestly does it preform anything a siren does?
mainly luring people to their demise
yes Sirens and Milotic are beautiful but Milotic doesn’t lure or harm anyone while a Siren’s purest intentions is to hurt others
