Pidgeot Mega Evolves into Mega Pidgeot. The gusts it can whip up with its tough and well-developed wings are powerful enough to smash huge trees.

Mega Beedrill
Beedrill Mega Evolves into Mega Beedrill. The poison it produces from its four limbs all work instantaneously, yet the poison it emits from its tail is slow-acting. It uses the former to prevent its foes from fleeing, and the latter to deal the finishing blow.
Mega Evolution gives its Attack and Speed stats an explosive boost. Adaptability is an Ability that increases the power of moves of the same type as the user from the standard 150% to 200%. Put it together with this Pokémon’s powerful Attack stat and aim for massive damage! – Official Site

On the Global Link, there will be a special ORAS League. In this league, you can use only Pokémon that you can catch during regular gameplay, hatch from an Egg, obtain within the game, or that were officially gifted in either Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.

The battle menu is something I’m going to have to get used to. It’s not bad. Just…legoish. It actually looks silly to be honest and I prefer XY’s battle menu. However, again, it’s something I’ll have to get used to. I’ve never seen something like this before.

As someone who constantly used kingdra, I’m looking forward to it as well. Personally I was looking for 160 attack but 150 floats my boat.
I had a feeling swampers wouldn’t get that big of a speed boast. And sceptile seems like a mix sweeper
I kinda hate that it dies to ice shard, but I think that every pokemon has a use. Its why I hate smogonites. No pokemon is usless. You just gotta get creative with it. For example, I have two different unique sets for furret! I love taking a random pokemon and making my own set! Im goona train up a sceptile designed mostly to counter those pesky ice types! I cant wait for mega sceptile!

Now that I think about it though, you have an account so report on challonge yourself if you wanted to. Just make sure to correctly write down how many pokemon you had at the end of each match.

Either way it’s still a glass cannon, it’s just about which hits harder. I mean, if you’re gonna teach it Dragon Pulse, Mega Sceptile is better obviously. Personally I think Dragon sucks, it’s SE against one type. HP Ice is better, and that’s why Life Orb > Mega

So… Character customization is never coming back, huh. So, if Z takes place at a different region, it isn’t having character customization either. That’s kinda booty.
Keep in mind that smogon’s base stats were all off by +/-10~20 So don’t jump to conclusions xD
It has also been confirmed in an interview with NTower that, although X & Y are compatible with Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, X & Y will not receive a patch to include the new Mega Evolutions and Primal Reversions.

I’m assuming the only reason they don’t is for cost. If anything like BW and BW2 compatibility with therian forms, they probably just won’t show as mega evolving or anything, and only display a change in ability when the ability is something that gives out a message(like intimidate).

Wi-Fi battles…. its gonna be so silly since Mega Swampert etc would just appear as a Swampert but will have the boosted stats and the person playing XY will be wondering why? Also with those that get extra types it is gonna be really silly.
Still don’t see it. They are probably going to make separate things for Wi-FI battling. Like XY Wi-FI battling section and then ORAS Wi-FI battling section to prevent these issues.
Just because they said it is compatiable doesn’t mean Wi-Fi battling between them is. Probably means you can trade X and Y stuff over and that’s it.
Wi-Fi battling will be compatible… it will just be like what happened with Rotom in D/P and Platinum. It is just silly when they have the ability to add the coding for the new megas into the games.
