UPD: Full (and new) scans have surfaced!
An advertisement for the November issue(next month) of Corocoro, from Shonen Sunday, has surfaced, along with the actual October issue of Corocoro!
- First image leaked(the one in black and white) reveals that a serial code will unlock a trial version of Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire that starts you with the middle evolution of a starter in the November issue of Corocoro
- Claims that you will obtain a new Mega Evolution in this demo; the words used leaves room for the fact that it could be a never before seen Mega Evolution
- Mega Sharpedo gets Strong Jaw for ability, get’s a basic stat boost with no particular stat getting a big boost, typing does not change
- Mega Camerupt gets Sheer Force for ability, gets a speed decrease and boost in everything else, typing does not change
- Mega Kyogre gets Rain of Beginnings(“strong rain”) for ability
- Mega Groudon gets Land of Endings(“strong daylight”) for ability
- No details on Mega Gallade ability or boosted stats yet
- Groudon’s new move is called “Cliff Sword”
Day 2
- Kyogre’s new move is called Origin Wave, hits multiple targets
- Groudon’s Cliff Sword also hits multiple targets
- Rayquaza is connected in some way to the mystery of Mega Evolution
- Corocoro ORAS demo to feature a never before seen Mega Evolution
- Corocoro ORAS demo also set to feature a special storyline exclusive to the Corocoro demo if you play the demo everyday, with other secrets teased for next issue
- You can bring over items obtained in the demo to the actual game
- Mega Gallade gets Inner Focus for ability. Corocoro does not specifically say what stat is boosted for Mega Gallade, but it does imply that it could be a frail sweeper(“It’s a the-first-attack-wins-the-game type of Pokémon”). Typing does not change
“mega Gallade won’t happen. Pokemon that evolve by stone can’t mega evolve” I love it when I’m right. The amount of times I’ve argued that this wasn’t the case. Feels great for this to be real!
Truuue, I never got why they wouldn’t do it. Considering Pokemon like Arcanine, Ludicolo, etc are so popular haha

If I go with 断崖の剣. While 断崖 both is taken to be Cliff, 断 by itself can be interpreted as “cutting” and 崖 by itself works as cliff.
So, I will convince myself the move means something like “Cliff-Cleaving Cutter”. Coz that’s what Kyogre does best, f*** up Groudon.

Those blue flames definitely aren’t part of the background though, since it’s in front of Mega Gallade’s cape.

Well as I said I am a corocoro Connoisseur I told everyone it would leak last night.
Also not to toot my own horn but I called mega Gallade for Wally since day 1. Albeit I was getting hesitant lately.
I also guessed camerupts mega stats. Earthenwarrior wanted a speed increase but I said it would drop while attacks and defenses increase.
Now my Connoisseur skills tell me mega milotic is around the corner for next month.

for those who called all these megas good job, now all we need is mega milotic and mega flygon and that will be all i think. the meags are cool but sharpedo dont look too different was expecting something else.but i like mega camerupt , and gallade which is proof that just because a pokemon evolves from a stone dont mean it cant get a mega, mega evolutions dont have set rules yet
There’s still 1-3 megas next month that comes out with this demo teased in the Sunday mag. I bet people are still holding out for a hero… I mean Mega Milotic. I can see Flygon getting one too.

Holy crap Mega Gallade is the first Mega Evolution that i’m actually super excited about, he’s my favorite Psychic type and my favorite Fighting type and it looks so damn cool.
look at that cape look at these arms and what is that coming out of these arms (psychic energy perhaps ?).
now for the ability i want it either Super Luck or Sniper because he has access to so many crit moves (Leaf Blade, Psycho Cut, Night Slash, Stone Edge).
for the stats please Att 165, Def 95, Speed 110 but they aren’t gonna be like that of course they’re gonna add to the stupid Sp.Att.
now waiting for Mega Froslass, Mega Roserade, Mega Luxray, Mega Empoleon and yes i do realize that they’re all Sinnoh.
