Based on an existing pattern, we can probably infer the following about Gen 7. That it will include a two-stage Grass evolution line – based on mushrooms – has effect spore ability – and will learn Spore.
Gen 1: Paras/Parasect
Gen 3: Shroomish/Breloom
Gen 5: Foongus/Amoongus
Gen 7:
Sunflora Mega
I’d like to see one based off of bioluminescent fungi. Maybe Grass/Electric would work well for that.

we got Grass/Bug, and Grass/Poison mushrooms already. I would like to see a Grass/Fairy Mushroom lol. (it’s possible since breloom – a mushroom – is in fairy egg group). A fairy mushroom wouldn’t be too farfetch’d.
It evolves when you level it up with a tiny mushroom or a big mushroom or whatever

Nah. He has two Pokemon. Mostly, Machop and Makuhita. It was shown in the trailers. I hope they make the games harder tho. For veterans.

There should be a easy mode and a classic mode. 😛
Basically just like Fire Emblem. Fire Emblem Awakening had a Normal, Expert and Lunatic Mode. If GameFreak made a Easy, Normal and Hard Mode it would work out well.
I just hope that they’re not making it easier or whatever. I’d rather have higher levels for all then lower levels……That was always one gripe I had with Gen 3. The champions highest leveled Pokemon was 58 for crying out loud!! It should have been higher……..
Yet somehow, it STILL had the hardest gym leaders XD
I’m fine with the strength of AI. I just feel like the higher levels make it seem more intense. Like when ur finally facing the champ and u both have Pokemon much stronger than everyone else in the region. XD
Well. If you think about it. Steven was still hard. The hardest champs for me were Blue, Steven and Cynthia.
Also, Gen 7 should have another 2 stage waste dump poison type Pokemon. Gen 1 Grimer/Muk, Gen 3 Gulpin/Swalot, Gen 5 Trubbish/Garbodor, Gen 7 ???

M8. I could remember when GameFreak was going to announce a new Pokemon Game on January 8th. We all thought it was going to be a Hoenn Region remake. Then it ended up being X/Y. Which it was still amazing cuz it was finally in 3D on a handheld.
Yet, some of us were disappointed. We didn’t get our Hoenn fix. Now final we got something grand. I’m glad GameFreak held off on making Hoenn in 5th Generation. Granted; 5th Generation was short but still. Getting to see Hoenn in 3D is grand!
I remember in December of 2012 when someone formulated “1/8/2013” to mean: 1 eevee, 8 evolutions, 13th main series games. And although starters were revealed, Sylveon was revealed in february. It’s almost as if Gamefreak caught on to the person’s prediction LOL.

This. Well said. Emerald is an entirely diff game, story ark, and even has a diff Game engine. It was built using FR/LG as the base instead of R/S. Only thing Crystal added was you can now pick a girl, and see a cool cut-scene with Suicune. Big deal.

This has got me thinking. GameFreak could maybe make an Action RPG for Pokemon. Maybe it could be based in the fuuuuuuture (props if you get the reference. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) or in the past. It would change the formula and create a whole new Meta-Game because moves would be used differently. Honestly; it would be fun! (It wouldn’t replace the main series! It would be a side-game.)

I just saw I have a 187 win record in the Battle Maison in super singles. Frankly, I forgot that even happened…
Anyway, my current project now is to give some of my Pokémon an expert battler ribbon. The easiest battle IMO is the singles Chatelaine boss fight. A single Greninja spamming Ice Beam will wipe the floor with her entire team, leaving the last 2 guys to be your choice to get the ribbon.
