Bounce/Fly/Dig all suck. Those moves should never be used. There’s no such thing as clauses in official play other than species and items. Although I do think Dark Void is banned, or formerly was.

That depends on the Pokemon. The only Pokemon that should use it is Giratina and Harvest/Sitrus Berry Trevenant.

I know you’re just getting into competitive, right? I hate Smogon but, use their movesets and spreads in the meantime while you’re still learning. It helps you get a feel and understanding of how competitive works. And once you feel comfortable, feel free to break off from it. 😛

You don’t have to. All UU/OU Pokemon are good for the most part in the competitive scene. For example, Vaporeon is “better” than Milotic because Vaporeon is slightly bulkier with a much higher HP, making Milotic UU. But Milotic wrecks OU teams, so tiers really don’t matter in terms of UU/OU. I never said that you have to follow the tiers though, just the spreads and moves so you have an idea. 😛

6iv with wrong ability if the right ability isn’t a Hidden ability. .
It doesn’t matter if the parent had the correct ability or not, ability is random,
But obviously you can’t get hidden ability unless the mother has hidden ability

I don’t know if anyone noticed. Yet, it seems like GameFreak is returning to B2/W2 style of Gyms. Where the Gyms blend in with the surroundings! (Refresh for the image.)

I strongly dislike generic gyms, and I much rather prefer when they are similar to their surroundings. BW2 did an excellent job with the Gym Designs, so I expect nothing different from ORAS. 🙂

I have not sat down and engaged in a Pokemon game in about a year, so I can’t recall fully. 🙂

If they haven’t revealed ANYTHING connected to them by now, something major must’ve changed.

I was actually wondering if GF would replace Winona with the new girl with the Altaria. Seems odd to have two main characters with the same signature. Unless they are like sisters/rivals or something.
That sounds very plausible actually, because the new girl (omfg can’t remember her name) has an Altaria which = flying.
I actually don’t really like the fact that Winona was in Fortree City anyways. I’d have expected a location with a FLYING-type gym to be more cloud-like, not be right smack in the middle of a forest. Forest = grass, NOOOOT Flying. ;~;
Oh well, the epicness of the overall game will make up for that. 😀
Winona should be in the elite four and kick Glacia to the curb, unless Glacia is completely redesigned and given a mega Walrein/Froslass. Seriously though, her team was so awful – only two pokemon families.
I honestly expect team upgrades on ORAS.
And we should be able to rebattle the Gym Leaders and they need to use Megas.

Sucks a bit because the Elite Four isn’t getting Megas. (Well, maybe for the first time around.).
As I said plenty of times. GameFreak is not replacing anyone. There only updating there designs and revamping or upgrading there team. All the Gym Leaders are staying in place (which includes the Elite Four). The only one that confuses me is Wallace & Juan. Either one goes for that.

It’s not pokemon, but like Digimon, Yokai Watch will bring a new and interesting twist on the monster capture/battle mechanic! The gameplay looks a more…”crisp” than X/Y. I’m super hyped for ORAS! Its my second favorite region, but these games are making Hoenn move up!
