Pokémon TCG coming to the iPad

It’s happening, it’s really happening! Pokémon TCG has been playable online for some time now via downloadable software (at least in English), but news is that it’s also coming to the iPad! This is great news for fans who are more reliant on their tablets than their desktops. It’s also a great time to capitalize on the digital TCG craze with Hearthstone consistently ranking high on Apple’s App Store. The image above comes from Josh Wittenkeller’s Twitter account. Bloomberg has also carried the story and confirmed the game’s existence.

Do you play the PC version? Would an iPad version tempt you over?

Personally, I think this would be a great step forward for the series and potentially expand the audience. I’d also be much more likely to play on my iPad versus my PC.

  1. Alright, the idea is tHe knees of the bees.
Make a definition. Send it to [email protected]. I will compile it, and put it in the OPJD (official PokeJungle Dictionary). When there are enough words, I will turn it into a PDF and email it to anyone who sent anything in, and will continue doing that until the PDF is done. Then it shall become the PokeJungle sacred text. Any objections?
