The Pokémon World Championship is taking place right now and Junichi Masuda has officially revealed Mega Slowbro.
Mega Slowbro’s energy has gathered in the Shellder clamped onto its tail. As a result, the hardness of its shell is boosted, making an armor so hard that nothing and no one can scratch it. When Mega Slowbro battles, it stands up on its tail. It can move by bouncing along, using its tail as a spring.
After Mega Evolving, its Shell Armor Ability means that opponents’ attacks will never land a critical hit. In terms of stats, its previously high Defense jumps still more, and its Sp. Attack also increases, making Mega Slowbro a great Pokémon for long, sticky battles that require endurance. – Official Site

The first 3 are great. Homecoming is great. Others, not so much. Downpour, I enjoyed personally. Still managed to be creepy. I saw someone play the demo and yes, them jumpscares. Best part of the franchise is the atmosphere and the psychological symbolism.

well in Pokemon rangers u BOND with the pokemon by catching them

And you barely bond with them, you use them for their ability and them ditch them.
In Pokemon Ranger, you release your Pokemon. The only pokemon you can truly bond with is Minun/Plusle.
In Conquest, Pokemon evolve through bonding/linking with them.

I can now see how Mega Slowbro could be really really annoying to take out. If you set up Amnesia(s), it becomes really bulky in both Defenses and with it having Shell Armor, Critical hits won’t penetrate its Sp. Def boosts and if it gets Toxicated (Toxic’d?) it could just rest up.. Best tank ever?

If you’re fully invested in Defenses and have those Sp. Defenses set up, nothing can harm MegaBro that badly, and if you’ve Toxic’d the opponent, they’re just wasting their time attacking a sleeping MegaBro since it won’t go down in one hit..

That’s the thing, if MegaBro’s your last Pokemon and the only way to win is by stalling, Rest would be better. And you can’t always switch in other pokemon in on a predicted Toxic since they might predict that and go for an all out attack or pull a double switch

Rest is viable option along with Sleep talk. The other moves would be amnesia and scald. Tank and burn
it is a viable option tho there are better options especialy if you make the right team around it
It depends what you want your Slowbro to do…The mega is no longer a pivot that you can constantly switch in and out because it doesn’t get Regenerator any more, so it will be worn down easily…if you keep switching it out. Slack Off is good if you dont use it as a set up sweeper, Rest is good if you want to set up with it, things like Toxic don’t get on your nerves.
There is no better option, there are different options for different scenarios.
In theory, the rest set is the ultimate wall as long as you get an amnesia up. Other options could be a special attacking set with Slack off, Trick room set in doubles (keep in nonME form for oblivious), or just a toxic stall

Slowbro is fully evolved. Slowking and Slowbro are different evolutionary lines of Slowpoke.
