FEATURED DISCUSSION: Competitive Tips – Catching good legendaries by soft-resetting (in-game) by Malachite
I kinda wanna analyze how the speculated megas would turn out competitively.
1) Milotic would go to OU. Becoming more bulky and hopefully retaining a good ability, it’d be one of the most tanky Pokemon in the game.
2) Sharpedo would be OU, provided it retains Speed Boost. Most of them would run protect while they mega evolve, and would be a glass cannon.
3) Camerupt is an interesting one. The stat distribution and ability will ultimately determine it’s fate. I just see it as one of those megas that won’t see much use, among the likes of Ampharos and Banette.
4) Salamence would definitely be OU/Uber. I’d project it to be the best mega Pseudo so far, increasing both attacks and speed, outclassing Garchomp because it lost speed.
What are your thoughts? Anything to add or any other Pokemon?

Mega Charizard Y has Drought. So, more people would want a faster attacker. Yet, if it does get these boosts it would be bulky. Also, what if someone uses another weather move. Your screwed. XD

Wow. I never thought of this until you brought it up and this all makes sense. I feel bad for Camerupt, but if it doesn’t get what it needs, it would probably be a mega used on only in-game teams…
I like Camerupt. I hope it gets a great design. But ultimately it comes down to the fact that there are better megas to use. :/

I believe Ludicolo is also a speculated Mega. I could see an increase in Defense and Special Attack while decreasing special defense. Maybe it could gain Water Absorb as an ability?
Speculated, yes. But I really believe Heavy’s theory that Pokemon that evolve with a stone can’t mega. It just makes too much sense. Prove me wrong GF, lol.

I still remember the day I got my original 3DS…I don’t own it any more, but the Pikachu one is better anyway.
