The new trailer reveals game footage for several gyms in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, as well as Mega Metagross and some Pokémon Contest information!
Steven and Mega Metagross
As we previously reported, Steven has been confirmed for the Champion of the Hoenn region in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. He still uses Steel-type Pokémon, including a Metagross that is able to Mega Evolve thanks to his Mega Stickpin.
Mega Metagross is perfect for both offensive and defensive styled battles. Gaining boosts in Attack, Defense, Special Attack and Special Defense. The Pokémon also receives a significant boost to Speed when it Mega Evolves. All of this is topped off with the Mega Pokémon’s Tough Claws ability.
Mega Diancie
Further details on Mega Diancie have also been revealed. The Pokémon will receive boosts to its Speed, Attack and Special Attack when Mega Evolving, but will also have decreased Defense and Special Defense stats.
Other Details
The Official Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire site has updated with a ton of new screenshots and information, mostly consolidating what we learnt from the latest issue of CoroCoro; some details on Gym Leaders, Professor Birch and more has also been added though!

The fact that mega Diancie’s defenses fall makes me think that its mega form isn’t as good as its normal form.
Same, it was the only thing that made up for its low HP. The speed boost will have to be quite significant for it to become a great attacker imo

Who cares if you can’t survive a bullet punch or common attacks such as water and ground?
Bullet punch will wreck but as for water and ground do the protect mega evo strategy. Protect the turn you mega evo to get the speed increase the next turn safely. Granted we really shouldn’t be judging this thing until its mega is released officially.
It gets increase speed and attacking stats, so it will play differently to regular. Diancie.
I think it’s equally as good. It has two possible roles as a supporter and possibly a sweeper.
Its gonna be good, all you gotta do is eliminate all steel types 😛 then sweep with Rock Polish and 3 moves

The same can be said about Headbutt. it’ll most likely be a move tutor move in the same fashion as Headbutt. And he was talking about Volt Switch being a move tutor move when it is a TM is pretty stupid.
He’s got a more viable physical pool than special though, especially if you add tutors like the elemental punches. On the special side it gets Grass Knot, Sludge Bomb, Psyshock/chic and shadow ball. Psyshock is the only good move here
