I think the primary reason is that you don’t receive enough attention for your messages in the chat when compared to the Disqus comment section.
Sure I understand that, and that is a burden that is intrinsic to a chat. But how does that make it scary? Also, it’s not as fast as you think it is now.
I just think it’s easier to moderate Disqus than the chat, making it more enjoyable. Chat can get crazy sometimes. I mean, I did exaggerate about it being bad but, if I had a choice between Disqus and chat, it’s Disqus. It’s nothing about you guys the moderators, but some people at the chat are crazyy. :3 That’s why I stick to PMs.

Sure. Uhmmm. Discussions can get really off-topic and inappropriate at times, making me just want to leave. Sometimes it can get really spammy, even for the chat which is meant for fast paced discussions. But on a separate note, I’d love to see people on Disqus use the PJN chat when battling so the rest of us don’t see 50+ comments like “OMG CRIT!?” “Oomgggg, HAXX” and everything else.
