New information on Sableye’s Mega Evolution has been revealed on the official Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha sapphire website!
Mega Sableye will have higher Defense and Special Attack stats at the cost of its Speed being slightly reduced. It also has the ability Magic Bounce, so any non-damaging status moves, stat reducing attacks, or entry hazards will be reflected back at the user.
During battle, Mega Sableye shelters itself behind the jewel, from where it can take advantage of any openings its target leaves exposed. — Official Site

-Its initial type is Water
-Regarded to be one of the most beautiful Pokémon, and beauty is associated with Fairy Type.
I’m just saying Beauty does not intentionally equal Magical Powers that Fairy Type Pokemon are associated with
Its just a very very broad accusation to call it a Fairy just because of its looks
And i looked up Mega Ampharos’s Dragon origin and it seems to be a demonstration of Mega Evolution changing the users type mid battle

While I love Mega Sableye’s design, this thing is pure crap now. It needed Prankster to survive.
It needed Magic Bounce to not be super OP
Like many have said before, it could easily be taken down by a Sylveon or Clefable. It wasn’t that OP.

and two it still has Prankster recover so if you don’t kill it in one hit it can easily run and recover

Claydol’s a Ground Type that can learn Heal Block. It’s a special attacker though.
Mind I point out that it is weak to Sableye? Although, it is such a bulky wall it doesn’t matter lol And it being a Special attacker saves it from Will O’ Wisp from being crippling.
Like anyone uses Sableye offensively!
Besides. Foul Play does nothing against Special Attackers.

Not really =/ It loses everything that made Sableye so annoying. Priority Recovery too is just so important. A Magic Bouncer with a 480 BST isn’t great =/

For those complaining about Mega Sableye, just don’t use it. Prankster was always its Mega Evolution.

Second turn, (if sash isn’t broken already) Tail Wind.
