Nintendo’s Digital E3 was broadcast earlier today and with it the company has shared a handful of details relating to new Pokémon games. Below you can find our coverage of the news, expect more throughout the day with in depth coverage just around the corner!
Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
And full trailer has been shown for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, showing Hoenn completely remade with 3D environments. Launching worldwide on November 21 in the US and November 28 in Europe!
In Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Kyogre and Groudon are able undergo a process known as Primal Reversion. This allows the two Pokémon to revert into Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon, and allows them to draw back power from nature and gain an even larger power boost. When undergoing Primal Reversion, Kyogre receives a boost to its Special Attack stat whilst Groudon become Ground/Fire type and gains a boosted Attack stat. Both Pokémon also seem to gain a boost to their abilities, although it’s not possible to confirm this yet.
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will bring players even closer to discovering the secrets behind Mega Evolution, with players seeking out Pokémon capable of Mega Evolving and unlocking their incredible potential. More Mega Stones are said to be hidden across the Hoenn region. It also appears that there may be a link between Mega Evolution and Primal Reversion.

From this pic it’s clear both leaders will be thankfully using megas! Mega camerupt and Sharpedo? 🙂

Just so you guys know I am mad because they keep showing it for a long over and over, not at Splatoon. I would be mad even if they showed people playing rounds and rounds of Smash because it starts making the game unenjoyable and spoiling it.

I find it interesting that “evil” organization leaders can utilize Mega Evolution. Using it requires skills and an incredible bond with their Pokémon. So it’s their ideals that’s misled, not the character themselves.
Like how Cyrus got a Crobat when it evolves from happiness. Maybe they’re just big ol’ softies on the inside.
You can still be a villain and have a close relationship with your pokemon.
But then you start questioning the bad guys methods and how they want to rid the world of pokemon…by using pokemon etc
They make it sound like you need a special bond with your Pokemon (implying friendship and happiness), but in reality I can just catch a Mawile, slap a Mawilite onto it, then Mega Evolve it XD
Then a lot of trainers will be able to use Mega Evolution, but you don’t see that every day.
Maybe because it’s not something you can find in the corner of the street, it seems like Key Stones and Mega Stones are hard to get

Like literally, a new trainer class (for now, Mega Trainers). They can be like they are in the Mega Special eps…I just want a challenge
Veteran class NPC should be able to use it.
Same, I would like the Elite 4 and the last couple Gym Leaders to use them.
All Gym Leaders could potentially use megas past the second gym.
Or they can NOT have Mega Pokemon, and only have them in the after game.. XD
