Another year, another E3. The next few days are going to make up the biggest week in gaming this year, with tonnes of gaming related news coming in from every direction. As we did last year we will cover only Nintendo’s Digital Event (though we will be covering all the other conferences and the entire E3 week over on Retry Level!), but we’re allowing discussion for absolutely anything related to E3 in this post.
We want to hear your E3 predictions, what games do you think will be revealed? What games would you like to see revealed, but are just wishful thinking? Perhaps most importantly for a Pokémon site what information do you think we will receive on Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire? Or even Pokken Fighters?

I never get why people think Sinnoh is slow.
I just really don’t get it.
Not because I’m a Sinnoh fangirl and think everything Sinnoh is better (because that is not true in the slightest, don’t you ever assume that of me D:<)
Maybe some animations in battle were slow, but that was really never a problem for me.
Just wanting to know. Mildly curious.
I think it’s just as slow as any pokemon game.
But the animations did seem… off, to me.
Yeah, same. It was the same as any Pokemon game, speed-wise.
Yeah, some took longer than others, but I never really cared.
I’m not sure either. There is the lag for one thing. Maybe they think it’s slow because of how far apart the cities are, the back tracking, Victory Road, and the fog.
Yeah, maybe the story too. Like the story takes off later rather than at the start.
But that is what I liked. Cause when you get to it, you’re glad to make it to the real story 😀
I started with Sinnoh and I loved it, but then my older brother gave me his emerald and….
It was like shifting from 5 mph to 60 in 2 seconds…
I instantly fell in love with it XD
I respect that 😀 I played Emerald the most, so much that I know what some Trainers have by heart xD
But then I was wondering if I should quit Pokemon, like my brother. I was about to, until I found out about DP. I picked up Diamond, and it reminded me why I love this series and how I shouldn’t quit anytime soon, like my brother 😀
Well I mean if you play the same thing over and over again you’re bound to get sick of it! XD
So I only replay games once a year.
I sadly can’t replay Pokémon games. I grow too attached to my party members and fear losing them.
With Pokemon bank you can now ship X&Y mons to the Bank and restart your game with only losing progress and items.
Oh wait, some items are hard to get. 🙂

Not me. 😛 I have replayed all Pokemon games multiple times.
And my brother didn’t like the repetitiveness and basic plot of defeating the League and stuff. I told him about the spinoffs but he is not interested in that either D:

He was interested in XY though, because it seemed different.
It’s just the walking takes SOOOOOOOOOO long, and the speaking speed is poo poo. :c
The battle enterings take a little longer than needed, and the map and the whole feel of the game is a little slower.

I always pick the fast option for the text. It’s in options. And it was just as fast as other games 😀
And Sinnoh just had the slow feel made me love it more. Like it fit Sinnoh theme. Don’t take life too fast 😀

There’s relaxing, then 2 slow.
Unova had more of a relaxing pace.
The speed is actually what made me shift over towards gen 3 and 5 XDD

It felt fine to me, the same as any other Pokemon game :3 But that;s just me. I respect all opinions 😀
Surf, the way the HP bar goes down, the move animations, and everything else in battle slows things down. Also, maybe walking through snow was another factor for people feeling it was too slow.Of course, they fixed A LOT of it in Pt, and future generations have learned from DP’s mistakes.

Back when I played this, though, it didn’t seem to be a concern for me. Then again, I was in middle school, and I hardly remember what I was like then xD
And yeah, Platinum did seem faster than DP. It was nice, though 😀
and every single freaking rom for it moves at the speed of a snail crawling through a sea of salt XD

I would hate to be caught by a trainer if I was a pokemon. You are pretty much trapped inside a pokeball for life, and when you come out, you have to have battles with your own kind! :O
That’s the game, but in the Anime, everything’s A-OK so long as the trainer and pokémon bond.

i wonder if you can catch a pokemon and throw it out in the open sea.. it will go all the way to the bottom of the sea to be forgotten by mankind!!!

i want to experiment and see what happens! i also wanted to catch a horde of dittos,apply at a poem on center and then morph them into a poke ball and switch it with other trainers and take their pokemon XD!when the trainers come back and there off they will have a party full of dittos XD!

then i would hunt that trainer down, use teleport with an abra and leave him in the sky pillar to wonder for ever!!! and take my pokemon back, if i didnt manage to see my pokemon again, i would be sad but ok because i made him suffer for eternity!!

I just realized something. IIRC, Sceptile’s the first Pokémon to gain a x4 weakness upon Mega Evolution. :'(

Charizard is the first starter Pokemon with an x4 weakness, though. While Scizor… just keeps its x4 weakness prior to Mega Evo… 😀

Advance Wars: After FE: Awakening, I’m all in for a new AW on the 3DS.
And I do hope they introduce a new 3DS revision, something that is still compact but sleeker looking with a better battery life and screen quality. And I’m not particulary interested in all the other games on the show, will rather wait for when they release. 🙂
I really hope they add better moves to the Hoenn startes, especially to Scpetile, I was talking with a guy and he said that Mega Sceptile would be better in Doubles because it is immune to Thunder Wave, to Stun Spore and no Electric-type attack could deal damage. and also I would like to see Petal Blizzard in its movepool or Dragon Pulse if it becomes a Special Attacker even more
Swampert needs a better movepool as well. I tried training a 6 IV swampert and it felt VERY limited q.q
Just one thing, these are Diancie’s stats right now, what do you think its Mega Stats will be? I think it will go to the 700’s but I don’t know wich stats are going to go up

Wait a minute. Someone here said that Kyogre and Groudon have megaevolution icons near their name, which is wrong. They don’t have it.
I was wondering why people were saying that too. There were some kind of icons in the gameplay pictures, but i don’t believe them to be mega icons.
Look at Kyogre’s screen. There IS a little mega evo icon but it’s closer to the trainer so I’m pretty sure that it’s the trainer’s pokemon that has a mega.
I compared Kyogre’s name to what is written there and it seems like the Pokemon trainer have has its mega and Kyogre is the opposing Pokemon.
And there’s more. It’s a trainer battle.
I’m looking forward to what Nintendo will have to offer. Mainly for Pokemon trailers however for the Wii U games because I need an excuse to get one. So SSBB will be one reason, Mario Kart 8 is another reason, but i just wanna be sure
I kind of hope that Blaziken gets another mega depending on the version of the game you buy because lets face it, nobody wants Torchic now that Sceptile and Swampert have megas q.q

I care for the nintendo one more than the Sony or Microsoft ones because the most recent sony console i own is the PS3. But they’re gonna dish out PS4 games. As for the xbox, my brother owns the xbox one and i don’t live with him so there’s no reason for me to hype about it. As for Nintendo, I have a 3DS and that’s current 😀 xD

Just noticed that both sides have three pokeballs. Meaning that this is a trainer battle. Could this be a battle with Archie? 😮
The image isn’t very clear. I will admit there is something there, but the only way we can be truly sure it IS a mega evo symbol is in gameplay footage. So hopefully within the next few day, we’ll know!
I’m going to assume it’s a mega evo symbol. Prehistoric pokemon don’t have any symbols by their names for some reason as there is nothing by kyogre’s hud. The mega belongs to the trainer. Kyogre belongs to another person at this point in the game.
Maybe it belongs to the protagonist, facing Archie? I mean there’s no way that anyone would have just three pokemon at this point in the game, but it’s just a beta picture, right?
Oh my goodness I just now realized what you were saying. Yes, i completely agree with you. My only question is who else would have Kyogre on their team? Does this mean Archie captured it, to try and make sure nothing goes wrong?
Could just be a beta picture but it would make sense story wise. What if Archie uses it against you like Ghetsis did with Kyurem? 😮
My final question is, with these being remakes, will Gamefreak really take such a big risk like changing the storyline so that Maxie/Archie capture the prehistoric legends?

but all of the information pertaining to ORAS wasn’t supposed to be revealed til the end of the weak so don’t expect much new stuff apart from a gameplay trailer.
Ni No Kuni made me care for the PS3 temporarily, but I sold that and the console already, so I’m only left with my 3DS and Wii U.
The only things I care about that’s on other systems only right now… are Killer Instinct, and Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment.

I think i just need a bit more shading in certain areas and i’m done with Mega Scep :3 btw. This is an edit of the BW sprite for it. I edit sprites when their megas look nearly the same (Body shape). I did the Mega Swamps sprite from scratch cause the body types are way different.
