To me it seems that they were already planning to introduce new megas at remakes and Blaziken was a hint to it. I don’t know if they just think to make primal forms after X and Y but changing Aerodactyl’s form would be somewhat messy.
I think that they wouldn’t add another form right now, only for G and K. Some people are still getting the jist of Mega Evo.
Thats the thing though. Groudon & Kyogre’s arent form changes. They’re still quite literally mega evolutions, they just aren’t called mega evolutions they have a new title. If you look at the battling screen you can see that Groudon still has the mega stone icon in its name

I love how Pokemon made sense of it’s size today! Prehistoric animals are deemed “large” due to the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere during those eras. If you look at the pictures that are contrasting the Groudon and Kyogre from their Ancient Devolution, the size difference is quite noticeable. Because of this, I believe they will one day make a Megalodon Pokemon. I know, random conclusion. :3

I like how the trees in the background of the battle and the overworld have more details and better texture.
What if Pokemon transitioned to full world details like the Parfum Palace Halls of Mirrors without the empty voids of black.
There seems to be some sort of incomprehensibility for me. Mega evolutions are meant to reveal the true potential of Pokemon and ancient devolutions seem to be connected to prehistoric state of Pokemon. It gets a little messy when we think about Aerodactyl since it was introduced as looking like what it was before fossilized, but it can also mean that Aerodactyl has its true potential by gaining rock-like body structure and that structure makes researchers think that it looks like what is was before fossilized. I don’t know either way I’m confused. They would have known that they were going to introduce ancient devolutions, so I’m not counting on them changing its form.

i think the black voids are needed so your eyes can see the entire situatuion for if its too spread out on the screen your eyes cant focus on one spot
The black is there to indicate that the wall ends there. Otherwise the walls would be too thick.

ORAS has so far introduced 3. I’m thinking around 10 more will be introduced.
well technically, XY introduced 30 mega evolutions (if you include latios & latias), so I wouldn’t be surprised if we got 10 in ORAS and 10 in the final game to round them off at 50.

We have to put our trust within TrollFreak. With the unraveling of Ancient Pokemon, they can do so much with these remakes. As Earthen stated before, Ancient Hoenn would be an unforgettable experience! Aerodactyls flying across the skies, watching the landscape change before us, the cutscenes, it’s the ordeal game… if TrollFreak does it correctly.
I personally feel like their saving that for the Zygarde game. Ancient Kalos (3000 years ago) when the war happens etc. Cause when you think about it, how else will they distribute AZ’s floette event. And with the introduction of Ancient Devos, it’ll make sense for a Zygarde game to happen where he gets his own Ancient Devo with Thousand Waves/Thousand Arrows.

They don’t need to remove it per se. They just need to redesign it a little, make it looks like a safari for starter.
If they did that and made the shiny chances normal, then it would be okay. I personally hate any form of increased shiny chances, because it eliminates the original 1/8192 charm that I grew up with.
You’re not the only person who grew up with 1/8192 chance? Beside, lower chance doesn’t really guarantee a shiny. Most people are too impatient anyway. I like it because it saves time, but at the same time it isn’t too easy.
10+ years of Pokemon, no shiny for me. So I think, increased shiny chance is not a bad thing, at least I can believe that shinies exist and they are not an urban myth.

Yes, finally! Everything I wanted in the the Ruby & Saphire remakes are here! MEGA Sceptile! First Charizard and now Sceptile! My two favourite starters now have Mega Evolutions! Could not be happier! And also I like the new Mega Swampert, it was my least favourite starter but now it is really cool and I want to know more about Mega Diancie! Gamefreak said that the Pokémon from Kalos would not get Mega Evolutions but here is Diancie! And the memories… The memories from when I was a little kid and I was playing Emerald! Now I hope Rayquaza also has a new “Ancient Evolution”! Can’t wait to find out more and to play the new games! Can’t even find the words! Mega Sceptile = Grass/Dragon, GRASS/DRAGON! 1. The game takes place in the Kanto Region, which has gone under drastic changes since the events of HGSS!
2. You start in Vermillion City! This is your hometown, which has also gone under some changes.
3. Your starter pokemon is Eevee! (This is a bit cliché, but more will be revealed about this next month!)
4. The main legendaries of the game are Cresselia and Darkrai!
5. Mega Evolution returns, this time with the Mega Necklace! (This is not the same one as in the picture below)
6. And finally, new gym leaders have arrived! Here’s one now! Kiyo! He was originally the Fighting Dojo Master, but now he is the Saffron City Gym Leader!!

I know this is not enitirely related but I do hope with “Ancient Devolution” we could see Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem be the “Original Dragon” or Genesect’s “Prehistoric Forme”. Maybe even an ancient Magikarp as the Pokedex says it’s somewhat stronger in the distant past :-).

In a way, yes. While in its regular form, Jirachi is weaker and playful, but when the eye takes over, it becomes stronger and more strategic.

I have seen something about “Ancient” Groudon & Kyogre having new moves and I think that the new moves are the stone pillars in the Groudon picture and the strange water in the Kyogre picture http://pokebeach.com/news/0614/oras-corocoro-2.jpg. Also, I have to be honest! I really like the concept of Steven Stone being the Mega Evolution guy in ORAS but I’d like more to see him using Mega Aggron, it just suits him better in my opinion and he had Aggron in his team. I think it’ll receive a new ability unless we don’t get an X and Y distribution before that and maybe become as @heavymetallamb:disqus said, Fairy/Steel or Fairy/Flying. I think it’s interesting that groudon is seen with some weird spike attack. My guess is that the spikes rise up from the ground and strike the enemy or it works in the same way as Thousand Arrows did. With Kyogre learning Thousand Waves.

Also Both Thousand Arrows and Thousand Waves are Ground and Physical moves and they sui Zigarde better but I see Groudon having a version like move of Thousand Arrows and Kyogre a version like move of Thousand Waves but special

If you look closely at the in battle photos of Groudon and Kyogre in the corocoro magazine, you can see circular orbs beside their levels much like the Mega Evolution orb thing that appears when you Mega Evolve a Pokemon.. (I could be imagining idk) But they are colours matching that of their respective orbs, the Blue and Red Orb.. I’m guessing the orbs are what causes “Ancient Devolution”
Things I want from these remakes:
Levels of gym leaders & E4 to be higher (more like Platinum/XY), or a ‘challenge mode’ option brought back.
If not, as least let us rematch them at higher levels after winning.

One of the issues was the colors were the exact same as regular Swampert’s. But the colors on the actual mega were darker.

The only way Sceptile will still outspeed is if it gets a Speed stat of 170 or higher. And that’s assuming Swampert won’t get a speed increase

and sceptile’s max speed is 375
And that’s NOT with a mega speed boost.
And mind you, you still have to take a turn to set up rain dance.

Both the Mach and Acro Bike make a return in this game and Team Aqua & Team Magma both return as well. Team Magma is lead once again by Maxie, and his Admins: Tabitha & Courtney. Team Aqua is lead by Archie and his admins Matt and Shelley, all of whom have been redesigned. Like the originals the team you face varies depending upon the game

I bet my bottom dollar either Sceptile or Blaziken gets another mega (revealed closer to ORAS release).
Charizard Y was shown first, and was special oriented. Just like Sceptile. They could be showing off its special variant first before showing the physical one.
Blaziken may very well receive one over Sceptile because Blazikenite will be pretty dated by time ORAS rolls around.

wonderlock is when you catch 6 pokemon, and wonder trade them all and have to use the 6 pokemon you receive from wondertrade as your main pokemon. When one dies/faints, you have to wondertrade it off.

– Standing in Aquacorde Town, Save before u sit @ the table
– When Tierno gives you starter, check if its shiny, if not
– Then Soft Reset by Pressing L + R + Select
– Repeat steps 1 through 3 til your starter is shiny
it helps if you have a good trainer ID

Yeah save in front of shauna before receiving it, and keep soft resetting til she gives you a shiny starter

nope. each egg has their own value that is determined before you pick it up.
I would say breeding for shinies is easier than soft resetting for them though (atleast from my experience)

Soft Reset is where you save at a point where you can get a Pokemon (i.e. starters) then you go through the process of getting it, etc. Not a shiny then press ‘R’, ‘L’ ‘Start’ and ‘Select’ and you start again
Wonderlocke is where you get a pokemon, Wonder Trade it and can only use what you receive, if the Pokemon faints then it is considered ‘dead’ and you cannot use it again

Remember how in x and y, before the patch, orre had its own logo thingy for Pokemon from orre like how kalos has the Pentagon shape. This made people think that orre would be remade. I think, though, that it could either be a new region completely, or just add a small amount of pokemon (around 40) to complete the missing Kalos ones. Idk. We’ll see in due time.

Very true! And Couriway Town main description says The Train brings people from great distances so I believe the game after ORAS will be in a new region. We beat it. Get our 8 badges. And move on to an enhanced Kalos where are starting town is Couriway and we get another 8 badges!

So if the game after ORAS is in the region that neighbors kalos, and after we collect our 8 new badges in the new region and take the train back to Kalos, this means the first gym (technically 9th) we would fight is the Ice Gym 0_0
