Pokémon Get☆TV — June 8 — FINISHED!

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Corocoro leaked earlier today and revealed some exciting new Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire details. Check it out!

NOTE: Despite what others may be claiming, there is no specific mention that the episode this week will reveal a new Mega Evolution. While it seems a little pointless considering the recent leaks of Corocoro today, we’re back one again with our weekly Pokémon Get TV post. This week we will only provide a stream, with no live coverage, though we will be watching the episode should some news crop up. Please enjoy the show! Remember we’re not expecting news this week, we’re simply providing a stream for those who enjoy watching the show.

That’s all folks!

  1. I just thought of somethin’ that Pokemon.Com might translate the info in like 2 days
I cannot wait to hear the flavor text behind these forms
Maybe that Mega Scptile’s Seeds are like solar energy sponges and require more sunlight for more power
and for Mega Swampert’s muscular system literally exploded

    • Mega sceptile has lightningrod because it’s tail is a tree(not a sappling like normal sceptiles) and it’s based on how trees are always struck by lightning and it is also known that lightning can cause wild fires and sceptile is guardian of the forest so it uses it’s thee to draw in lightning to protect the forest it created using the seeds on it’s back 🙂

  3. Yes, finally! Everything I wanted in the the Ruby & Saphire remakes are here! MEGA Sceptile! First Charizard and now Sceptile! My two favourite starters now have Mega Evolutions! Could not be happier! And also I like the new Mega Swampert, it was my least favourite starter but now it is really cool and I want to know more about Mega Diancie! Gamefreak said that the Pokémon from Kalos would not get Mega Evolutions but here is Diancie! And the memories… The memories from when I was a little kid and I was playing Emerald! Now I hope Rayquaza also has a new “Ancient Evolution”! Can’t wait to find out more and to play the new games! Can’t even find the words! Mega Sceptile = Grass/Dragon, GRASS/DRAGON! Don’t care about 4x weakness to Ice! Just love it!

      • Don’t get me wrong, the other two look like ninjas and in my opinion in design wise, Gamefreak spent less time with Swampert and that was good, a simple but good Pokémon but I take that back now! Look at the arms on Swampert, it has steroids!

  4. I wonder when we’re going to get Johto starter Megas. They already did a remake of Gen II, so hopefully they give them to us in ORAS

  5. @Monky:disqus I think their not going to give us Johto Starters because we already got Hoenn Starters with Mega Evos. I think they just gave us Kanto starters to let us have a Mega Evolution! There’s no need for the Johto guys! I remember in Emerald that you could get 1 Johto starter if you got 200 Pokemon! 🙂

  6. Time for some Pokemon Eclipse News!

    1. The game takes place in the Kanto Region, which has gone under drastic changes since the events of HGSS!
    2. You start in Vermillion City! This is your hometown, which has also gone under some changes.
    3. Your starter pokemon is Eevee! (This is a bit cliché, but more will be revealed about this next month!)
    4. The main legendaries of the game are Cresselia and Darkrai!
    5. Mega Evolution returns, this time with the Mega Necklace! (This is not the same one as in the picture below)
    6. And finally, new gym leaders have arrived! Here’s one now! Kiyo! He was originally the Fighting Dojo Master, but now he is the Saffron City Gym Leader!!

    That’s all for this month!!
    Refresh for all the images!!

Now time for the Q and A until 9:15!!
    (Can’t reveal everything though!!)

  7. Give Mega Sceptile a boost in it’s atk stat and the return of Outrage Move Tutor and you now have the fastest dragon type Outrager in the entire game WITH earthquake 🙂

And lets not drool over the possibility of dragon dance as a possible new egg move 😉

    • YOU ARE A GENIUS REGI!!! Honestly though with lightning rod I have a feeling he will be more spA because with the ability he gains a boost in spA

      • I’m hoping the gamefreak realizes how much we all love to use leaf blade so that players can capitalize on it with an attack boost xD

        • I was talking to a irl friend and he said giga drain would be good and then brought up leaf blade and I was thinking I always use that move! If he gets d dance I will probably take the attack route.

    • I would have loved this, but it seems it’s taking the special route D: I at least want it to get a small attack boost like Charizard Y.

  8. Random question but has anyone got a ditto safari or a ditto with 3+ perfect ivs in x/y cause I’ve only completed my new save and stupidly didn’t get pokebank before starting the save so I’ve lost my dittos and other mons 🙁
