Cuz. During the reveal of X & Y. When Japan got CoroCoro (basically when it leaked.), Nintendo shows all the news to the world! I’m only guessing. Oh yea, E3 is in 3 days!
I know this is not enitirely related but I do hope with “Ancient Devolution” we could see Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem be the “Original Dragon” or Genesect’s “Prehistoric Forme”. Maybe even an ancient Magikarp as the Pokedex says it’s somewhat stronger in the distant past :-).
I like that concept. Would be cool to see how they looked.

Pokemon’s biology is way more complex than ever. Both Ancient Devolution and Mega Evolution opens up possibilities for virtually almost every Pokemon as an overview to what they were before in the past and what could they become in the present/future.

Mega Sceptile: Increased Attack, Special Attack and Speed.

Swampert is a slow Pokémon makes sence but I think it will have more Speed to be better
