I was using a 6iv ditto and 5iv cacnea and somehow bred a 6iv one about 20 or 30 something eggs deep. So now later tonight I’ll swap out the parents and breed the two 6iv one’s for a 5iv shiny baby.

It’s the fact that some people like to read the comments on this site about Pokemon and people’s ideas and stuff.

Best method to catching a shiny Pokemon:
1. Train a Honedge until it’s level 100 and make it evolve to an Aegislash
2. Make the Honedge learn False Swipe
3. Spam False Swipe until the wild shiny Pokemon has 1 HP remaining
4. Spam Poke’balls until you catch the dang thing!
Or just have a Pokémon with Thunder Wave or Spore.
Or better yet, breed them.

-Have a Honedge with No Guard Holding Smoke Ball. (+50% encounter rate and instant run away)
-Use Encounter Power 3.

I need more friends that play pokemon 😛 I can’t get online so the only shinies I can get in the friend safari are a Pupitar and some other rock type I don’t care about.
Just ask around for friend codes, the more you get the more choices you have.

Remember the X and Y dude claiming Pokemon will gain triple types? He is kind of correct as Forest’s Curse and Trick-or-Treat adds Grass or Ghost respectively to the target’s original type. If used on a Duel-type Pokemon, they have three types. This also means that EVERY single Pokemon is genetically built to gain the Grass or Ghost-type. Ghost-type makes sense while Grass… biologically speaking it also makes sense. And poor Scizor Bug/Steel/Grass = 8x weakness to Fire attacks.

Until the release of Pokémon Platinum, when it became able to learn Bug Bite, Caterpie was unable to do anything to a Ghost type outside of struggling except lower its Speed. It shares this trait with its evolution, Metapod. This is also true for Weedle, and its evolution, Kakuna, against Steel types before Pokémon Platinum was released.
Due to this, it was impossible to complete a Generation I game using only Caterpie or Metapod, since Struggle couldn’t hit Ghost types at the time.

Gaowl sounds tribal or something. So its a legendary (or pseudo) pokemon that lives in a secret forest where it hasn’t been in contact with humans and has meditated for years to be able to liberate its fellow pokemon from humans because all Gaowl believes is that all the pokemon that used to live in that forest were captured by humans while it was meditating for eons. It is a strong Psychic and Steel type with levitate as its ability.
